One Shot

The car was upside down.

Ice snapped awake when he heard the crying of his daughter. He cringed in pain as he immediately looked over at his daughter. "S-sweetie..."

Her head was bleeding. "I-I'll get you out. Hold on okay?" He said as he pulled out his gun. He opened his door and unbuckled. He winced as he fell out of his seat, but he got out and limped over to Anne's door.

He unbuckled her and pulled her out. He stumbled and placed her on the ground.
He panted as his head spun.

"Slider!" He yelled as he raced over to his side. His door was totaled and he couldn't open it. "Ron!" He said more panicked. Ice raced back over to his door and crawled into the car and saw Ron's head bleeding badly.

He started to panic. He got out again to the broken door and started to pry it open with his knife.

Anne was crying, and for good reason. Ice panted as he yelled in frustration as the door wouldn't open.

He finally got it to budge and opened it. He unlocked it and saw Sliders whole left side bleeding. He teared up as he realized pulling him out would cause more issues.

"Anne!" He yelled. "Turn on your emergency beacon on your backpack! Now!" He said as she did.

Slider started to wake up. He tried to get up but cried out in pain. "No no, Ron stay there. Anne's activated her emergency beacon. Emergency services and the agency's on the way."

Slider had tears going down his face. He was in pain, and he was trying his hardest not to freak out. "I-I can't feel my arm, or my leg..." he said with pain in his voice.

Ice was going to say something when he heard Anne scream.

He immediately pulled out his gun and aimed. He saw a masked man holding the little girl with a gun at her head.

"Drop your weapon!" The masked man said. Ice clenched his gun tightly as he kept his gun on the target.

"Shoot me, I shoot this little girl..."

Ice looked at his little girl and tossed his gun to the side. "Good..." the man said as he looked at the little girl.

"Give me the flash drive..." ice frowned. "I don't have it... not at the moment." Ice said as he tried to figure out how to get Anne.

"Then it's at your office..." Ice saw Anne holding something. It was the small taser he had given her a long time ago in case something like this happened.

Ice looked his daughter in the eyes. He needed her to tase this man. If she did, he could disarm him, or at least make him retreat. His daughter got the message.

She continued to cry as she turned the button on. She suddenly tased the man. He kicked the little girl off of him. The moment his eyes were off of Ice, ice lunged at him and tackled him to the ground.

The two fought for the gun. "ANNE! Grab my badge and run back to headquarters and find Maverick!!" He said as he punched the guy.

Anne didn't hesitate and grabbed his badge and ran back towards the headquarters. Thankfully it wasn't far.

Ice suddenly got punched to the ground. Ice panted. His head spun so much, he couldn't see straight. He was just thankful Anne wasn't near this anymore.

He heard the gun be cocked and pointed at him. "It's a shame... you are a good father, good leader... too bad your dangerous in the eyes of my employer."

Ice looked at Slider who was trying to get out of the car. Ice looked down and closed his eyes as the gun was fired.

Ice fell to the ground and stopped moving. Slider screamed in anger but couldn't move. "I won't shoot you agent... you're the one to tell them what happened. I should go get that flash drive now..."

Maverick was sitting in class teaching the group. He saw a lot of agents rushing around outside. He raised a brow but didn't pay much attention to it.

Suddenly he saw Anne run into his classroom. "Maverick!" She said as she cried. Rooster looked at her and was confused, along with the rest of the team.

"Anne? What's- why are you bleeding!?" He ran over to her and knelt down in front of her. She was holding her fathers badge. Maverick froze.

"What happened..."

Anne was sobbing as she wiped her eyes. "P-papa and Dad came to come pick me up from school, but a car rammed us off the road. The car flipped!!" She said as she continued to sob.

Maverick realized. "Oh no... are your fathers okay?!" He said as he grabbed his jacket.

"Dad was driving, he can't move! Papa was fighting a man for a gun cause he couldn't give him a flash drive." She said as she sobbed.

Maverick tossed Ices badge at Rooster. "Rooster, grab the flash drive from Ices office. Phoenix get this little girl to the medbay, everyone else, guard Ices office."

Maverick ran out of there. He figured out where ice was based on his tracker and ran there. They weren't far.

Maverick arrived and panted as he rushed down over to the car. "Ron! Tom!"

He said as he saw Ron had pulled himself out of the car and was leading against the side. "Oh shit..."

"Ron are you okay?" Maverick said as he knelt in front of him. He was beat up badly. "I-I'll live. Go to Tom... he's, he's not moving..."

Maverick ran over to the other side of the car and saw Ice laying on the ground barely breathing. Mavericks eyes widened. "Tom!"

Ice opened his eyes ever so slightly. "Pete..."

Maverick turned Ice onto his back. Ice panted and cringed in pain. Maverick touched his side but saw red.

"I-is Anne okay..." ice mumbled. Maverick nodded as tears welled up in his eyes. He started to put pressure on the wound.

Ice gripped mavericks shirt.

"I got you... helps on the way..."
