Murder Drones: The Outcast and the Rebel

Colony Skirmish part 1

Uzi had awoken on her bed she looked around confused not remembering entering rest mode she must've really gotten comfortable in J's embrace. Speaking of the pig tailed drone she wasn't on the ceiling which probably meant she was either hiding to scare her or J was roaming the Colony. Uzi opted to be cautious as J's habits were cute but horrifying at times, she let out a breath when she was sure J had left the room and finally deciding to get up. She stretched and guessed that it was nighttime and went to grab the rifle she had stolen from K, hoping it was good enough or better than her rail gun.

Uzi: Huh alright time to see where my Jade went hopefully, she doesn't scare someone to death. Well unless that someone is my dad.

Uzi's eyes had flashed yellow when mentioning her dad though Uzi didn't notice this. Uzi went for the door carrying the rifle in her hand she really wanted to test it out maybe if she got lucky, she could get out of the colony and test it out. Uzi found herself enjoying the less crowded halls in fact it was far better than getting all the attention she was getting earlier, it felt strange. Beforehand no one seemed to give a crap about her but suddenly she had Lizzy walking with her to class and everyone interested in what happened to her. Uzi stopped thinking about class it just felt so surreal, and she was more than happy to go search for J than recount her day in her head.

J on the other hand had grown concerned and she just didn't understand why, something felt wrong like she wasn't safe. At first she thought it was just guilt eating away at her but now she felt like whatever was watching her was closer.

J walked towards the door that seemed to be the only defense that the Colony had against the Disassembly Drones. She wanted to understand why it was so effective she thought it was similar to ever other door on similar colonies but found that it was far more reinforced and secured. J had to give whoever came up with the idea props if this door wasn't here V surly would've found them. J approached it to see if she could find out how it worked only to-

Uzi: J there you are?

J: Uzi? I didn't think you'd be up.

Uzi: Well I couldn't leave you all alone tonight. Besides I guess you could say I missed being next to you?

J let out a little giggle.

Uzi: Hey what's so funny! Are you laughing at me?

J recomposed herself clearing her throat.

J: Whatever do you mean Uzi I would never laugh at my girlfriend.

Uzi: Hmph see if I let you cuddle me again.

J looked at Uzi knowing that she enjoyed their time together just as much if not more than J, hell she even went into rest mode in her arms. That was something J would keep that image saved in her memory for a long time.

J: Really Uzi because I the look your giving me says otherwise.

Uzi: Bite me!

J started to walk away from the entrance to the colony wanting to try and look around the central part of the structure, she thought it be better to do that then messing with Uzi all night. Uzi followed right behind her trying to come up with something to talk about but couldn't seem to come up with anything. The two drones made it to the biggest space in the colony which wasn't all to populated at the moment but J found the silence to be quite nice.

Uzi: Soooooo any reason why you wanted to be here? Because I thought you explored the colony already?

J looked at Uzi with a smirk.

J: I just wanted to have a nice walk I don't want to get too relaxed and become lazy. Besides I thought you'd enjoy being able to-

J stopped hearing something hit the roof she looked up to where the noise had come from trying to figure out if she was hearing things, Uzi hadn't noticed and was waiting for J to finish her sentence.
