Uzi awoke the next day relieved at the progress she had made as J didn't even kill a single Worker Drone during their hunt. At least Uzi thought she didn't kill anybody unless she licked the oil clean, but J seemed like someone above that. Uzi decided to finally sit up looking towards the ceiling and finding the aforementioned Disassembly Drone in rest mode. Uzi wished J could be "normal" or at least go out in the daylight in all honesty she wished J really was Jade fake story and all. She found herself liking J enjoying the Disassembly Drone even with all of her buzzwords and quirks. Uzi left deciding it would be best to leave J be and start her day off she quickly grabbed a notebook being in too much of a rush to realize it was J's. As Uzi left silence was all that was left of the room only being broken as J detached from the ceiling.

J: Alright J how are you going to do this, Uzi could be back any moment what do you say to her?

J's thoughts had gone in circles of trying to talk to Uzi maybe she could just be blunt ask her to make her cover story no longer just a cover story. J cared for Uzi that was obvious bur why did she care? It went against everything she used to believe in. Sadly, J's thoughts always came back to the same conclusion she was a failure who was leeching of the time and energy of a Worker Drone. J hated it that she had these thoughts part of her wanted to have more with Uzi the other part despised herself.

J: There has to be a way I can show I "care" for these Worker Drones? I'm trustworthy, I'm understanding, hell I have more common sense than these idiots.

J finally unwrapped her tail from her waist she was surprised she had kept it around her for so long. She looked at the area where she once had a blade attached, she considered repairing it but that would only cause more issues especially with 30% of her Repair Nanites missing. she proceeded to wrap her tail back around her waist, seeing that it was something she couldn't just explain away. J had to get herself together she was honestly disappointed in herself she just didn't get why was she so empathetic. Something brought this out of her she knew it after all she sent Doll here to die and when running into her, she didn't take the shot to kill her. Was it because of Uzi or would she have actually pulled the trigger she shuddered at the thought.

J: Alright J you can do this you know where all the windows are in this colony you just need to avoid the sun or else you will die.

J really started to hate her flaws it restricted her from doing much and she was tired of being kept in. Alright J just go out and put your happy face on and it should all work out. J made her way out of the room expecting the hallways to be a bit busier than the usual nighttime she was used to. J was correct as there were a few Worker Drones out with some even waving hello to her she nodded in response and tried her best to give a friendly smile. These drones weren't so dreadful she just had to make the best of it and her thoughts were stopped as she ran into somebody.

J: I really need to stop walking into people.

Khan: You walk into a lot of people Jade?

J: ahh Mr. Doorman I'm so sorry let me just-

Khan: No need to do anything Jade I couldn't be happier with what you've done.

J looked at Khan confused what did she do aside from the promise she made to protect Uzi?

J: Not to sound rude but could you maybe tell me what I did?

Khan: Well Uzi told everyone in the meeting room about your work in your old colony. Let me just say its nice to have someone who can bring something new to the colony.

J: Hmmmmm. Might I just ask Mr. Doorman where Uzi is I want to thank her for the "good word" she's been spreading around.

Khan: Uzi should be in class, but I don't want you interrupting her class she's already the problem for her class.
