Murder Drones: The Outcast and the Rebel

The Final Confrontation part 1

The flight was long or at least it felt long to Uzi, J, V and N as there was a constant tension with B leading them to an unknown location. To J this was a nightmare she wanted to avoid being found out. She wanted to avoid having B of all people learn of her treachery but right now it looked like that was inevitable.

Uzi on the other hand looked around and was trying to see where they were going. She'd never been this far outside the colony, and she felt a bit empty seeing it all. It was just more damaged buildings and roads covered with snow the occasional destroyed vehicle.

Uzi: Is this really it?

J: What do you mean?

Uzi: It's just maybe I was hoping that something would be different, but I think it finally just set in for me that there really isn't anything here.

J: Uzi I'm sure we can do something but for now we have each other. Me and you will get through this.

Uzi tried her best to make a smile that would give J reassurance to show that she was alright, but it took a lot more effort than she thought it would. Uzi's attention was soon brought to what she assumed was their destination as she could see B, E and F all starting to descend.

Uzi's eyes widened at the sight of what they were descending towards. What she saw was a large facility that looked to be far larger than the Colony though it did look beaten and worn a bit the sheer size of the structure was baffling. It was clear that the facility was built to survive an ungodly amount of damage if the core explosion only did third much.

V and N slowed down to get closer to J and Uzi as they did need to find out what they were going to do. They required some kind of plan if things went south, and they needed to come up with it now.

V: Alright we need to come up with something right now if we want to get out of here alive.

J: I know V but it's B-

V: I know it's B and I'm not looking forward to fighting her. I tried fighting C remember. If that third-rate guy kicked my ass, how do you think we'll do against her?

J was trying to come up with something and Uzi wanted to default to fighting if things went badly, but she kept her mouth shut due to J and B's relationship. Finally, N decided that he'd throw out his two cents and an idea.

N: So, we know that I is here and B clearly doesn't know that we're traitors yet. So maybe we sabotage whatever is going on here and get out?

V: Sabotage when B is right there, and for all we know A could be here or even more squads of Disassembly Drones.

J: We'll see about it N. It's a crazy plan but we need to try and continue this rouse a little bit longer.

N: Alright we best not keep them waiting then, right?

J: Right.

V: Let's get this over with and short stack don't try to kill them yet.

Uzi: Why won't you just say my name?

V: Because I don't respect you.

V, J and N descended and reached the ground with J putting Uzi down who went and looked around the entrance of the facility with a curiosity. The four spotted B and her said and started to make their way towards them all fearing what could go wrong.

It wasn't long that the two groups walked into the entrance of the facility the damage on it caused by the core's collapse and the newer freezing climate had done damage to most of the sign of the facility Uzi tried her best to make out what it said.
