They see you now

To call Uzi and J cuddling in the back of the bus as awkward would be a massive understatement, granted the bus consisted mostly of people who knew them but most were unsure of how to feel about the Disassembly Drones. Khan looked back at his daughter and was... disappointed, not with her but with himself. Maybe he could have stopped her transformation? Maybe he could have kept his daughter the way she was?

Khan: She looks like her mother far more now.

Yeva: I know... you never told her about Nori.

Khan: It was- I- what was I supposed to tell her Yeva?

Khan tuned to Yeva while asking both of them keeping their voices low enough to avoid being heard by Uzi. It was a hard question for Yeva as she was  aware of what Nori was, who she was but it was clear that Khan had no idea how to parent.

Yeva: She's one of them now isn't she?

Khan: It's just her rebellious attitude.

Yeva: You really think being a eating Workers is just a phase?

Khan: First it was Jade then it was the arms and legs and now it the tail and wings... I don't know what to do.

Yeva: Well, it looks like your ability to help her was always low.

Yeva left the conversation at that if the girl wanted explanations, then she'd have to ask, her mind was far more occupied on looking outside watching and waiting to see if "it" would show itself and while she was sure that they were for safe now, it was not a guarantee when they reached the Colony. Yeva wanted to rest, she really did but she remembered the last time she was tricked into resting... it cost her.

The bus finally arrived at the entrance of the Colony which printed Khan to get up and go open the door, it was the only thing he really had now. Sarah followed behind as she could tell that he was practically falling apart which wasn't surprising considering that his daughter wasn't a Worker Drone anymore.

Meanwhile Lizzy sat with a smug smile on her face as she looked into K's eyes.

Lizzy: Never thought you'd get all romantic after hearing a member of your family died.

K: Well without him we can be happy and I was thinking that we could be a bit more intimate.

Lizzy: Oh Kali you know how to make me smile. Though what about the those two?

K looked over to J and Uzi without initially thinking of why Lizzy was asking about them... but it set in really quickly that Lizzy was hunted by Uzi, and J was always attracting the company's eyes in some way.

K: We'll be cautious cutie... but no matter what you got me.

Lizzy: So glad I found you, your the best person I could have found... don't tell anyone I'm being sweet.

K: I won't cutie your sweetness is mine and mine alone.

K was yet again finding joy in her life which was something J was more than happy about as her mistakes had finally been corrected in some ways. Now J was sitting with Uzi still clinging to her, the short Disassembly Drones visor showing when she'd be active again. J had one arm free from Uzi's grasp though J was still holding her brothers helmet, her eyes going from Uzi to the damaged piece of armor.

J: Why did you want me to have this I? Were you stupid or actually willing to have some ounce of care for us?

J's questions wouldn't be answered, it was impossible since her brother and that copy were dead, it was odd having this be the only reminder of him. She despised I... or at least she despised what the company made him into, he loved someone just like her but it was clear the company used that to their advantage. And hearing Cyn's voice that robotic and monotone tone was all to facials but were her and I involved with each other? She'd never asked but I had to believe that he could get Cyn back or at the very least bought everything the company told him.
