Chapter 1 - First Day Of Hell

     I Walk outside to take one last breath of fresh summer air. School starts tomorrow. I wish I didnt have to go. Last year was horrible for me. Ever since that year I decided to never let people get to me again. I changed for people. Maybe it's for the better and maybe it's for the worse. "Lucas! Get your ass out here and eat!" I flinch and mumble "Not the best thing to hear before the first day of school." I open my door and walk into the kitchen to sit down and eat. I zone out into my own thoughts, "Maybe school won't be so bad?" I knew I was lying to myself but it's better that way I guess, "I mean. Angel will be there so it can't be entirely bad?" I finish my dinner and put my plate in the sink. I walk back to my room and lay on my soft bed. "I should just get some rest" I thought to myself as I closed my eyes and slowly went to sleep.

I wake up to my alarm clock ringing into my ear as I reach to turn off the damn thing. I rub my head and mumble things that didnt even make snese at the time. I get dressed and fluff up my hair. It feels good to wear my platforms. I dont really go out of my way to impress people. I wear what I want to wear. Fuck everyone else. I grab a piece of bread and tell my mother goodbye as I walk to the bus and board It. Before I had realized my Ex came on the bus and sat in the seat right across from me. "Fuck my life" I mutter. He gentelly smiled at me and I turned away and looked out the window. It was silent the rest of the ride.

I get off of the bus and unfold my schedule. "Let's see.." I squint at my paper "Mrs... Jenkins for homeroom? I guess she must be new." I walk down the hall and walk into the classroom. I think to myself, "A few new faces... But i dont really know anyone in this class." I let out a sigh and started to walk to a seat when I got tackled from behind. "Heyyy Lucas!" The person releases me and I turn around and see Angel. "God dont do that, you scared me. You're lucky i didnt throw an elbow." Angel just shrugs, "It wouldnt hurt anyway." I squinted at her and she just smiled. We both walk to a seat. Good thing there is one person I know in my homeroom. A few minutes pass by and more kids begin to roll in and fill in the seats. And finally the teacher walks in and introduces herself. Nobody pays attention to that kind of stuff so me andm Angel just whisperd to each other and talked about summer.

Angel and I compared our schedules and we had most of our classes together which was relieving. The bell rang and me and Angel walked to our next class which was...Math. "So Lucas, are you planning on getting a new boyfriend? I mean I understand if you don't want to because I know your last relationship was hard." I sigh, "I'm not sure.. I mean... I dont mind getting into a new relationship.. It just might not be easy." Angel looks at me sympathetically, "Yea I know how you feel." We both walked into class and sat next to each other. I watched kids flow into our classroom when I saw the most handsome guy I ever saw. Angel looks at me and smirks "You're blushing~" I immediately looked away and the guy sat right behind me. Angel just keeps smirking at me while I'm trying to calm down my heart rate.
