It was late at night,probably around 2 am,it was peaceful and quiet
Janus was asleep in his bed ,suddenly being woken up by the sound of sobbing,he sat up after a moment and got up,putting on a robe around himself despite being in pretty comfy and warm clothes before leaving the room,walking down the hallway to the purple and black door with a storm cloud on it, Virgil's room, he could hear the sobbing was coming from there, he carefully opened to door
''Virgil?''
the smaller side looked at him, tears running down his face, Janus looked at him with worry, going over to him and sitting on the bed before gently picking him up and holding him in his arms
''Whats wrong my little Stormcloud?'' Janus said in a soft tone, trying to calm down the small side in his arms
Virgil cuddled close to him and sniffled ''I had a awful dream..''
''would you like to talk about it?'' Janus held him closer while saying that,cuddling him now
the anxious side shook his head no
''hmmmm.. would you like me to sing to you to help you calm down?''
''yes please'' Virgil said as he rested his head against Janus' chest
Janus put a blanket around him before cuddling him once again,keeping him close and making sure he was comfortable before he started

''♬Baby mine, dry your eyes♩''
the smaller side started to smile a bit at the singing, Janus' singing was very nice and calming
''♬Rest your head close to my heart♩''
''♩Never to part, baby of mine♬''

Virgil smiled more before he yawned a bit, the singing was really calming him down and making him sleepy

Janus could see the smaller side getting tired and smiled softly
''♬They'd end up loving you, too♬''

the little side slowly close his eyes,starting to drift off to sleep
''♬You're not much, goodness knows♩''

Janus finished singing and smiled softly at the now sleeping side in his arms, he gently placed him back into bed ,tucking him in then gently kissing his forehead
''Sleep well my little one..'' He said in a soft and quiet voice
He left the room,quietly closing the door so he wouldn't wake Virgil up, he went back to his own room and climbed back into bed,soon drifting off to sleep as well
