Omniscient

London had a lovely childhood. She was very perspicacious for her age, timid & very artsy and loved to read.

She read every chance she got .

Before bed, free time in school , on the loo , anywhere.

Her safe haven was at home with the people, yet the school environment was an obstacle. Her being at home most of the time caused her social awkwardness.

One day she was pushed down by a group of bullies and never defended her as they called her horrid names .

"Everything passes. Everything changes . Just do what think you should do. Baby girl don't let anyone belittle you . They are just jealous that they're the sky and your the sun and the stars, their mad because everyone pays attention to you , '' Her father told her as he clean her little wound on her knee.

"Pick your head up princess , your crown is falling"

||🌙||

It was raining outside and little London was waiting by the window pane for her parents arrival .

She occupied herself with her favorite book , I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings By Maya Angelou .

London always thought of herself as a caged bird.

She swayed her body left and right on the white chair as she briefly reminisced about her big brother and best friend. Ironically both young men were kicked out of their house holds because they decided to take the path every parent dreads and fears.

Selling cocaine.

Ironically , both young men ended up learning the lesson life taught by losing some one dear to them in these dirty streets, the streets really do talk.

It says,

"I caught you while you were struggling in the hood ,

I toyed with your emotions and made you feel good.

I promised you respect , money and power ,

you stood on the block for hours on hours on hours .

I made you live a life complete with sin ,

no matter how much you turned away ,

you knew deep down inside id always win.

I gave you everything you've possibly wanted in exchange for your soul,

Between the right and wrong path you were torn .

I take your life like a thief in the night.

Send you home in a coffin ,

and you'll lay 6ft under the ground , rotten.

Cant you hear ?
