Despite what happened last night I woke up feeling refreshed . I got up and washed my face and brushed my teeth .
I then put on my reading glasses and grabbed my Ipad and read some emails , replied and replied to Bree with her usual rant about me getting the "D" & delusional questions . One that really stood out was from Drake , I read it and Grinned ear to ear and replied .
I put everything back in their designated place and made my way downstairs wrapping myself in my robe .
The smell of bacon and eggs hit my nose and I followed the aroma.
" Good morning sis , sleep well "
" Yes I did how about you brother ?"
" I did . Here you go "
He said giving my breakfast which consisted of eggs, bacon, grits, pancakes & cut up strawberries, cantelope , and peaches. And a large glass of oj. " Do you have any sp-"
" Splendid sugar?"
" Yeah How'd you know? " I asked taking the packet from him and pouring it on my fruit. He flipped one pancake as I popped a strawberry in my mouth , he then turned his attention to me .
" Mom liked her fruits that way "
I nearly chocked on the strawberry when he said that .
He patted my back , "Are you okay? "
" I suppose so "
" After your done we gonna go visit Mama sheila and everybody" I nodded .
" Chris? "
" Yes?"
" Do you still have problems with Drake even after the bar fight?" I asked before eating a spoonful of grits.
" Na , we grown . All beef is squashed . Plus were working on a song "
" Wow . I'm proud of you being a big man "
" Mhmm . Why you ask ?" He said giving me a side eye before sitting down with his plates .
" I think I've taken alittle intrest in him "
" Is that so ? "
I nodded.
" For how long?"
" Since I was 12 " He looked at me with wide eyes and I quickly caught on .
" Oh . Well I've liked him since I was a kid , now since I got the chance to meet him & had a very intriguing conversation from 10 pm to 4 am , I've really took a intrest in him." He nodded and ate a peice of his bacon.
When he was done chewing , " Yall talk to damn much dont ya mouths hurt & I give you my permission to go out with ole dude . How have you been liking Cali so far ? "
I laughed .
" Just like Bree . And Good cause when he comes back from his Dnf video he's taking me to listen to 3 tracks exclusively from his upcoming album and a nice lunch . And so far I like it , not as busy as the city that never sleeps . Might be a life changing experience"
" Ouu get it gurl " I laughed and we spent the rest of the morning talking about almost everything . Well only the things I wanted him to know.
