3rd person pov:
As dabi and hawks walk back to their cabin. Dabi scratches the back of his neck.
Dabi:"So, how much did you hear?"
Hawks:"Enough to better understand you."
Dabi:"Shit."
Hawks:"Hey, don't be embarrassed, babe. I think I might be able to resolve your worries."
Once at the cabin door. Hawks whispers something into Dabi's ear, with a smirk decorating his lips.
Dabi ears what he said, and eyes light up with hope.
Dabi:"I can do that, bit are you positive that's what you want?"
Hawks:"If me being human helps you. Then I'll stay. It's your choice to continue without me or not -"
Dabi kisses hawks. Taking his breath away.
Dabi:'I can't continue without you by my side. I almost lost you before. So I never want that to happen again."
Hawks chuckles.
Hawks:"Tehehehahaha! What are you talking about, silly? We've only known each other for two or three months now."
Dabi's joyful smile fades to guilt strikin.
Hawks:"What's the matter, babe?"^Everytime our past is brought up. He looks depressed. Then, the conversation shuts down. As dabi tries to change the subject. He's hiding something, and I'm gonna find out what it is.^
Dabi:"Let's get some rest. No sleep means more stress, right?"
Hawks:"Yeah."^What are you hiding from me?^
As they both get into bed. Hawks snuggles close. With Dabi's head on his chest. The vampire begins to drift into a deep slumber.
Dabi:" Please, don't leave my side again.......*yAAAawnnn!* I don't know what I would do if my little robin..... got hurt.......agai-"*Snore*
Hawks soon clears his mind. As sleep takes him.
The following day. They arrive in New York. After processing through and passing security checks. They took their citizens test and were approved in a matter of three weeks. Once free to leave the city. They moved to New Hampshire. Where dabi got started on their plan. However, dabi had other plans. A few miner secrets that he's try to keep from Hawks.
For two years, dabi studied to be an architectural drafter and carpenter. That way, he could legally build their business. Once legal. Dabi got started on their hotel. For three years, dabi worked. Never once let Hawks help. As dabi wanted it to be a surprise. For once the building was finished. Dabi had wanted to propose to him during the opening ceremony. Then, the day came.
