61: No Light Will Find You

3rd person pov:

Hawks take the key and unlock the cover to the 13th-floor button. With a deep breath to calm his nerves. Hawks proceeds as planned. The moment the doors open. All he can see is darkness. No light enters this floor at first. So he lights up the emergency lantern that's on the elevator and walks into the vail of shadows. That's when he sees that this floor looks like the rest at first glance. Carpeted halls with rooms on both sides. Using the key. Hawks open each room. On one side of the halls, the rooms are normal. However, the first room he enters on the outer side of the building is way different. Long shackles hang from the ceiling to face a solid glass wall that faces the sunrise.

Hawks: "Holy shit."

In the next room, he sees more ceiling chains. This time with meat hooks on the end and a bucket below them.

Hawks is horrified by the sight and backs up against the wall. Only for it to give way to a hidden passage that tunnels throughout the building.

Hawks: "Dabi why? Ghrsh"

Hawks head throbs as a presence feels like it's nearby. Out of the corner of his eye. Sherlock sees white. He turns to face it. Only to see his reflection in a nonsilver mirror. Hawks breathes a sigh of relief and moves to see the next room. That's when he enters Dabi's office. There laying on the desk is the blueprints to the hotel and new changes marked.

As sherlock looks over them. He finds out the truth behind the changes.

Hawks:"Wait, but this is-"

At that moment. The elevator bell dings. Signaling the someone else is on the floor now. So Hawks snuffs out the lantern.

Meanwhile, dabi is about to charge at momo.

Momo confidentiality stands up to the threat.

Momo: "I wouldn't if I were you. Unless you want your pet to be turned into a corpse.

Dabi's eyes widen with surprise.

Momo: "That human you let pass by will turn any moment, and when he does. I've given him orders to capture your pet. If I don't meet up with him in an hour. I leave it to him to decide to turn or murder that human."

Dabi's head drops down. Putting a shadow over his eyes.

In his dream state. Dabi is being restrained by the shadows to the chair.

*It's no use resisting me. You knew one day that this would happen.  Why else did you decide to change some of the torture rooms to suffocate humans? It wasn't because it's a hobby. You were preparing for the day where your human wants to join you forever.*

Touya gasps as the shadows start to cover his face. So with the one free hand he has. Touya reaches out at the light. As he's almost fully engulfed in the liquid like darkness. Only the tip of his fingers are out. Just as the shadow's is about to complete around him. A thin red stringe coming from the ring is pulled tight towards the light. Giving touya something to grasp.

Touya:"I won't give in that easily. You're gonna have to do better than that shithead."

The thread extends and binds the shadow figure.

*You think this is over!? I'll always be a part of you. Now I'll just change my tactics. This isn't over until your body is mine.*

The energy is then sealed into the ring before vanishing off his finger. That's when dabi comes to just in time to hear the threat against hawks.

Dabi: "You're sick. Just like that bastard."

Momo: "All you have to do is let me live and your human will be safe-"

In the blink of an eye. Dabi is behind her.

Dabi:"Be silent you piece of shit. You're not even worth drinking."

Momo suddenly finds herself looking up at her body from the floor. As dabi decapitated her with a flick of his wrist.
