The Birth

(This chapter will be set eight months later at the time of birth) - sixth mono

sapphire is going to be giving birth soon and we are all prepared. we were relaxing together and then she felt something wet and asked if I just did it which I didn't. We got unknown to come over and we told him that her water had just broken. He had spent time learning about this stuff so he knew the procedure. 

I didn't know what was happening so I stood back and then I met you peculiar. you were a beautiful child. I remember when I was holding you in my arms. It was amazing to know I was your father. I passed you over to your mother. I honestly just started thinking about if this was a good choice. 

I began panicking about you dying in this twisted, messed up world. I couldn't believe that I hadn't thought things through. all I knew was that I will keep you alive enough for you to learn the ropes but after that I may have to leave you.  I didn't want to but that was how it may be to save the majority. 

I left the room and went to the gym and I wrapped my hands up in tape. my arms were no longer scrawny. sure one was burned but I had built muscle and I was able to fight with more power. I walked over to the punching bag in the gym and started working on my technique for my fight. I was a lot stronger and I would be able to win the fight against the trainer way faster now. 

good thing that was done. The next goal we had was to locate an elevator and go into the upper levels. We were setting out next week but I wanted to get a headstart in searching. I went back to see sapphire and you. I went to your mom and told her I was going to begin searching for an elevator. She begged me to stay but I didn't.

This is why I don't think you know much about me and why I am leaving my journal for you. I went over to see unknown and asked him if he would come with me. without a doubt he said that he would go which is very reassuring. I told him to pack his stuff and that we are leaving soon. I went back to my room and began resting.

 I fell asleep and dreamt about it when I was searching for the trainer. I immediately began thinking about going back to where the vent was and breaking through that one door and seeing where that takes us. As I finished resting I got dressed and walked towards the door, opened it and then I sprinted over to unknown's dorm.

I knocked on his door over and over. He woke up and I asked if he was ready. He was ready and slid on his backpack and we started walking to the edge of the camp. We arrive and I ask him one last time if he wants to go through with this, he nods and we begin walking towards the next step in the plan.
