The Return

I swung my foot up and smashed it into his head, splattering it across the elevator floor.  It was a large mess, brain goo, flesh, and skull fragments were everywhere across the floor. If I hadn't seen the image when we had just got onto the M.A.W.B., I would probably throw up and make this an even bigger mess.

I should probably get back to Unknown and we should head back to the home base and tell everyone about the news. I pushed the elevator button and began ascending back to the floor where unknown was so that we could regroup and head back home. I hopped out of the elevator and saw unknown standing there.

I told him we had to head back home, but he was frozen. This was his first time seeing something like this. Even the image didn't compare to this for him. This was a dark day. I tugged on his shoulder and broke the trans he was in. "we gotta go back to the base, they are waiting for us," I said, hoping that will awaken him.

It did. We changed elevators, and went back down to the floor we came from. We looked around for a bit and found the room we came from and entered back into it, climbing back into the vents, and crawling home. We crawled for what felt like hours until we finally reached the exit, we jumped out, and were on the trail home.

I could see the base in the distance, it was just a matter of how long it would take us to get there. We carried our bodies the complete distance and we finally arrived. I was extremely tired and felt like I could collapse on the floor like a dog at any second. I went to my room, took off my shirt and shoes then laid on my bed.

It felt so good to be comfortable again. I slept and had one of the best naps I'm ever going to have in my life. I was back at home. I had a dream while I was out cold. It was a strange dream. I was in an area that looked where we found all of the cannibals, perhaps a more hidden area. I was being attacked.

There was a strange figure. One I can't remember anything about, but I was dying. It felt real, as if I was actually dying. It was painful but soothing. I don't want to remember it. I hopped out of bed. I put my shirt and shoes back on. I was immediately out the door and on my way to see sapphire.

I approached her door. I was nervous. I had just gone against what she wanted from me and now I was going back to talk to her. What is she going to think. screw that. I'm going back to her. I don't care what she is going to think. All I know is that she is gonna be in my arms. I knocked on her door.

"Hey Sapphire."
