The hours after they got coffee this morning flew by and before either of them knew it, it was five o'clock. Steve would be over any minute and Robin was insistent on Priscilla inviting him to Eddie's show at The Hideout. "You should be the one to ask Steve to Eddie's show." Robin insisted, facing Priscilla on the couch with her legs crossed in front of her.

Priscilla scoffed at Robin's comment. Steve was her friend. Robin should be the one to ask him. "Me? Why not you?" Priscilla turned herself to sit facing Robin back. "Steve is your friend, after all."

"Yeah, but it was your idea." Robin poked Priscilla's knee with her pointer finger and wiggled her eyebrows up and down. "Besides, Steve is your boy toy." Robin made kissy faces at Priscilla and laughed.

"Shut up," Priscilla mumbled, grabbing one of the throw pillows on the couch and throwing it at Robin.

Robin and Priscilla giggled as Robin continued to tease her. "Ooh, Steve." Robin mocked. Priscilla lunged across the couch at Robin, tackling her back against the seat cushions. The two of them were laughing so loudly that they almost didn't hear the knocking on the back door. Robin shot up and whipped her head around to look at Priscilla, a smile creeping across her face. "Ooh, lover boy Steve is here!" She sang.

Robin hopped up off the couch and turned the corner into the kitchen, headed towards the back door with Priscilla trailing behind her. Robin opened the door to reveal Steve standing behind it with a bouquet of flowers in hand. Robin slapped a hand over her mouth at the sight of him. It was a sweet gesture, but Robin couldn't help but want to laugh at Steve's desperate attempt for romance.

Robin's mocking from before rang through Priscilla's mind at the sight of Steve. He really had grown up, hadn't he? Sophomore year Steve was certainly not the same Steve standing in front of her with flowers at this moment. Priscilla had to admit that it was cute seeing him standing there with flowers for her. Okay, she thought, maybe she could muster up the courage to ask him to Eddie's show after all.

"Uh, hi." Steve said meekly, still standing on the back step waiting for Robin to move out of the way so he could come inside. As soon as the door had opened, he had his eyes fixed on Priscilla. It was as if Robin wasn't even there. "These are for you." He said, extending his arm towards Priscilla and handing her the flowers.

"Steve..." Priscilla admired, "These are so pretty, thank you."

"You really are a dingus, aren't you?" Robin commented, finally moving out of the way of the door and letting Steve inside.

"Bite me, Buckley." Steve joked, stepping over the threshold.

"Pass." Robin gagged. "That's 'Scilla's job."

"Robin!" Priscilla smacked Robin on the arm at her comment. Priscilla was starting to think Robin was just as bad as Eddie when it came to crass commentary. Priscilla glanced back at Steve who appeared to have found Robin's comment amusing, but Priscilla could feel her cheeks growing warm with embarrassment.

"So," Steve said as he dropped himself down on the couch with Priscilla gently sitting down beside him and Robin flopping down on Priscilla's other side. "What's the plan? Movies?" Steve motioned to the movies Robin and Priscilla had rented last night sitting on the coffee table in front of him.

"Well, we're still waiting on Eddie." Robin informed, leaning back against the back cushions of the couch and locking her fingers together behind her head.

"Oh," Steve's tone was very obviously filled with disappointment. "I didn't realize Eddie was coming over, too."

"Speaking of Eddie," Robin quickly diverted the subject of Eddie in a different direction. She sat up again and leaned forward to rest her elbows on her knees and look across Priscilla at Steve. "'Scilla here has something to ask you."
