Kaylus was sitting in the passenger seat staring out the window of the car at the trees zooming by Kaylus' her mother sighed, "Oh Kay, it's gonna be alright." Her mother said she knew Kaylus wasn't too fond of moving back to Hawkins, it was easy to tell she wasn't happy because she had a freshly bloodied bandage around her hand.

Flashback Start

"Kaylus! Can you come here please?" her mother called down, Kaylus sighed and walked own stairs, and saw boxes everywhere, "Mum, what's going on?" she asked, her mother sighed and told her they were moving, "Wha- Why!?" Kayles yelled, "Because your stepfather has kicked us out, we have till tomorrow evening to be gone." she said, Kaylus thought it couldn't get any worse until she heard her mother say they were moving back to Hawkins, "WHAT?! NO WAY!" Kaylus screamed, she hated Hawkins with a deep burning passion, "Darling, it's already been arranged, now go pack your things please." her mother said calmly, "Oh fuck this." Kaylus growled out and stomped to her room packing everything.

It was the day they had to leave, they were leaving a few hours earlier than planned, "Good riddance, you damaged my reputation so much your angry brat!" her stepfather spat in her face, Kaylus growled and jumped on her stepfather and punched his face repeatedly until she was dragged off him and put in the car.

A few minutes later Kaylus' mother, Annie, got in the car and bandaged Kaylus' hand up, she turned the car engine on and drove in the direction of Hawkins.

Flashback End

"Kaylus, our new life won't be so bad." her mother said gently, when Kaylus would have anger episodes, they were violent, a lot of the time she needed medical attention, her anger issues were very bad, it fitted with her delinquent personality and reputation, if something bad happened while she was there and didn't like it, she would do something about it.

Kaylus sighed and looked at the sigh saying 'Welcome to Hawkins!'Kaylus gritted her teeth and closed her eyes, after what seemed like half an hour when it was really ten minutes her mother shook her awake, "Can you grab Missy and Mocha please?" her mother asked, Kaylus nodded and got out of the car opening her little sister's car door, she unbuckled the car seat and lifted the sleeping child, she reached over slightly and grabbed her cat's carrier, inside was her cat, Mocha, she was a brown fluffy tabby cat with beautiful light brown eyes.

Holding her sister in one arm and her cat carrier in the other, she followed her mother up the porch stairs to the house they would be staying at, who's is what she didn't know, her mother knocked on the door and a few seconds later the door was swung open, and her mother was pulled into a hug by someone, "Oh Annie!" the other woman said gleefully, "It's been so long Stephanie!" Kaylus' mother said back, just as happy 'Stephanie?' Kaylus thought, the name was familiar, "Oh my god! Is that little Kaylus?!" the other woman looked past her mother and stared at Kaylus, "Oh my, you've grown so much!" Stephanie hugged the girl carefully so she wouldn't wake up the sleeping child, "Stephanie.." Kaylus said awkwardly, Stephanie led them into the house and closed the door behind them, Kaylus looked around, this place was familiar, "Gareth!" Staphanie called, 'Oh god no, please be someone else..' Kaylus prayed, but her prayers were ignored when a few boys came from the garage, "Yeah mum- Oh you've got to be kidding me." Gareth looked at me narrowing his eyes, "Gareth, don't be rude to the pretty girl." some guy with long curly hair said, Stephanie sighed, "Can you help Kaylus bring Missy upstairs to the spare bedroom please?" Before Gareth could answer, Kaylus did, "No, it's ok, I can do it by myself." Kaylus smiled and walked upstairs not letting any room in for arguments, she was still holding her little sister and her car carrier, she put the carrier down and opened the door, Kaylus walked in and placed her little sister down on the bed and positioned a few pillows around her so she wouldn't fall and tucked her under the covers, it wasn't particularly warm in Hawkins at the minute.

Kaylus grabbed the cat carrier and walked back downstairs to see Stephanie talking to her son and his friends, she walked straight past them and into the garden letting Mocha out so she could do her business, Mocha was an indoor cat but would go outside to do her business while Kaylus put the carrier back into the car, where Gareth's father, Thomas, and his older brother, Kyle, were getting stuff out the car.

Kaylus grabbed a box of her stuff from Kyle and walked inside, "Kaylus, your room will have to be by Gareth's, sorry dear." Stephanie apologized, "It's ok Stephanie." Kaylus smiled, "When you go upstairs his door is the one at the very end on the right, yours is in front of it." the woman smiled and walked into the kitchen, Gareth and his friends were nowhere to be seen, Kaylus shrugged and walked upstairs and to the end of the hallway to the opposite side of a door, which had the classic 'KEEP OUT!' on it, Kaylus opened the bedroom door and saw that a bed, desk, drawers, shelves and a wardrobe were already in there, Kaylus sighed and set the box down, within ten minutes all of Kaylus' boxed where moved into her room, she waked to the car and grabbed both of her guitars, they were in cases so you couldn't see them, the garage door was open and she saw Gareth and his friends playing band instruments, "HEY! NEW GIRL!" one of the guys screamed, Kaylus sighed and looked over, the puck looking one waved her over, she rolled her eyes and walked over, "What?" she asked bored, "What kind of guitars are they?" the same guy asked, "Uhm, this one is a Strat" she lifted one up "and this one is a classic." she said and walked away, not really caring about what they had to say afterwards.

After hours of work Kaylus finally got her room done, and she was proud of it.

She had hung up red lights because they gave off so much energy, they could help with any feeling, whether it was anger, happiness, sadness, etc

In the corner was a black and red cat cradle for Mocha, in the middle were built in food and water holders, she filled one with cat food and the other with water, she was so glad that next to the cat cradle was a window that Mocha could get inside and out with when she wanted to, but when it wasn't open there was a litter box at the bottom of the cradle, Mocha was litter trained but still preferred to do outside, the litter box was for if she wouldn't be able to make it on time.

Kaylus looked out the window and saw there was a ledge under the window, she smiled as she realized she would be able to sit on the roof ledge and play her guitar, Kaylus opened the window slightly so it wasn't as stuffy and got dressed into an oversized band shirt and a pair of leggings, she got under her covers and dimmed the lights so they were low, but not low enough for it to be pitch black.

Kaylus closed her eyes and drifted into a dreamless state with Mocha sleeping at the end of her bed.
