Rose swung her legs over the top of the tree. Her legs dangling back and forth in repeat. Allowing this one minute to think about her past. The trama with her family. Remembering why she became the monster she created. That girl was weak, she was deemed a sacrifice. She would never be that little girl again. Two years ago her father sacrificed her to save their family. She was a distraction so the rest of her family could get away. If he was still alive, if she ever saw him again she would kill him slowly. It is his fault. Everything is his fault.

"Only you would be looking at the woods like it was a pretty sunset."

That voice. It made her skin crawl out of irritation.

"Only you would be stupid enough to seek me out." She didn't need to look to know that the voice belonged to Tyler. She starred over the wall, at the dozens of trees appearing in the distance. The night sky covering. Rose use to think when the sun was high in the sky the world was the prettiest, but now she appreciated the beauty of the night sky fully engulfing the world. The sparkle of stars covering the atmosphere.

Tyler inched his body closing to hers. Kneeling behind her. She could feel the heat of his body and his breath touching her bare neck. She didn't turn toward him. She didn't give him that saifiscation. She imagined the two strands of his black hair falling in front of his face just like it always did. His hair too long, always getting in his face unlike Xavier's clean cut light brown hair. She was praying he would take a hint and disappear just like everyone else.

"You seem like you have something on your mind." His voice touched her ear. She desperately wanted to reach back and strangle him. The feel of his breath touching her skin. Out of range she clenched her fist tightly turning white.

She could hear him shuffling behind her. The moment of hope that she could be left in peace dissapeared when his annoying voice spoke again.

"I know something to ease your mind off from whatever dark thoughts you are conjuring." Rose turned glaring at him. She hated how this boy always acted like he knew her.

She looked down his chest, She noticed he held out a bow and arrow in his hands, offering it to her. It was magnificent. It's beauty, not like one from the weapons she made from scratch. This was one was outlined in black, and heavy like steel.

"We can go before anyone even realizes that we are gone." He smirked at her. His voice soft.

"Aren't you scared?" She stood up, hovering over him. She had been in their camp long enough to know no one dared to leave the walls. Especially if it was deemed as dangerous.

"As long as you are by my side, what do I have to be afraid of?" Tyler mimicked her actions, standing up starring right back at her. Still offering the bow and arrow to her.

She knew she should ignore the boy that has brought her nothing but irritation. The smart thing was to leave and rejoin her temporary hospitality. She should go back to Xavier. The perfect boy.

She looked at the boy standing in front of her. He was dangerous. There was that darkness she could see through his eyes, the same that laid behind hers. This was a mistake, but she did loved the idea of having a little fun with aliens. Whenever she was rageful at the world, there was always an alien she could take her rage out on.

If Tyler died being stupid, that wouldn't be her fault. And like he said they would never know they left, they would never know Rose was the last person to see alive. Xavier wouldn't have to know she was responsible for another death.

"Alright, Solider." She took the bow and arrow from his hands throwing it over her shoulder. The weapon slid in place over her shoulder in front of her chest.
