CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE - NUMERO UNO

AMELIA AND I SOON ARRIVED where the others were located as I was wearing a gray tank top.
"3. 30." Aiyon said.
"Sorry we're late." I apologized.
"Hold on, you're timing us?" Amelia questioned.
"Yes, and we've broken two records today!" Ollie responded. "We know you are busy filling in at BuzzBlast while Jane's away. You've told us 50 times."
"It's a big job. Even with Coda helping me." Amelia stated.
"We got your back, boss." Izzy said.
"By the way, Coda. How's your spinal cord injury?" Ollie asked, remembering how I was injured badly during one of fights.
I sent him a thumbs up. "Still a bit sore but I've been resting. I've been helping Melia at BuzzBlast. I'm good as new, Ollie." I replied, causing Ollie to sigh in relief.
"Aw, was Ollie boy worried about me?" I then teased.
"I was not!" Ollie denied, making everyone chuckle.
"Which reminds me, I gotta meet Fern for javelin training! Can you take this?" Izzy handed Zayto the Sporix.
"Sure." Zayto took the Sporix. "Aiyon and I need to go back to base anyway."
"Oh, later dudes!" Izzy said.
"See ya." Javi added as him, Izzy, and Ollie left while Zayto and Aiyon teleported away, leaving just Amelia and I.
"So we're good? Back to work, then?" Amelia asked, making me smile as her and I eventually teleported away.

Amelia, Javi, and I were back at BuzzBlast as Javi was playing some tunes on the keyboard. "Whaddaya think? Good intro for 'Mystery Buzz'?" Javi asked as a worker soon entered the room.
"Sorry, Amelia, Dacoda. I need a decision."
Amelia and I stood up as I walked over to Javi. "I love the melody, but our new show is about unsolved mystery. Let's make it 10% less chilling and 15% more thrilling." I told Javi.
"Sure thing, boss." Javi replied.
"That one." Amelia pointed to an article of clothing before turning to me. "We better see how Brad's edit on the Icelandic Kraken segment looks."
Amelia closed her tablet. "Stand by to roll." One of the workers said.
"Camera set."
"And action!" Amelia called out.
"Hello there, Buzzblasters!"
