CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO - THE FESTIVAL

I WAS AT THE BASE wearing a silver shirt with a gray flannel over it as I was walking with the others. "So there's no emergency. What's up?" Aiyon had asked.
"Well, last week, when it was my birthday, I wondered when your birthdays were, and how to get 65 million birthday cake candles." Ollie replied, making everyone laugh.
"So then I told them about Rafkon's Triple Sun Festival." Solon explained.
"One day of gift-giving for everyone at once. Everybody's birthday at the same time." Izzy said.
"I checked the galactic calendar, and the Festival is today!" Solon said.
"That's what that smell is, Flargon cake." Zayto told Aiyon.
"Yep, we wanted to make you something special from your planet. We've been helping Solon bake them." Amelia explained.
"Sooo. . . ?" Aiyon rubbed his hands together.
"Don't worry. We got you guys gifts." Javi said, walking over to something that was covered and pointing at Aiyon. "This is for you."
He took off the cover, revealing a motorbike.
"Happy Triple Sun Festival!"
"No way! I've been watching tons of motorbike clips online." Aiyon said, getting on the motorbike.
"Oh, we know, we can hear." Izzy paused as she imitated motorcycle sounds. "all over the base."
"Wow. I can't wait to cruise around on this baby. Someone take a pic!" Aiyon said. "This is perfect for my new BuzzBlast profile."
I reached for my phone first. "Smile!" I told Aiyon, snapping photos of Aiyon on his motorbike.
"Well, now that's done, we have something for you too." Ollie told Zayto, picking up a box as Zayto lifted the lid.
"Whoa! What are these Dino back massagers?" Zayto asked.
"I call them T-Rex Energy Phase Weapon Strike Prototype Five X." Ollie responded.
"But we all agreed that was a terrible name. So now they're called Dinochucks." Izzy said.
"Dinochucks, very nice!" Zayto said.
Aiyon wrapped his arm around Zayto's shoulder. "Those are seriously cool." He said.
"Right? I can't wait to test them out." Zayto stated.
"Careful. They're powerful." Solon warned. "You shouldn't use them inside the base."
"OK. I'll try them out later." Zayto placed the Dinochucks back in the box. "Thanks, team."
