CHAPTER THIRTY - LOSERS WEEPERS

ALL OF US WERE AT THE BASE as I was wearing a gray sweatshirt. We were looking through some cash Izzy and Aiyon found. Aiyon was putting the money in his backpack.
"No way! All this money's just been sitting out there this whole time?!" Javi asked as Aiyon nodded.
"What are you two going to do with it?" Zayto questioned.
"That's the thing. Someone doesn't wanna share it with me." Izzy replied.
"Uhh, why should I? You wouldn't share your find with me." Aiyon said.
"What find?" Javi asked.
"A rusty dog collar. It was a whole thing. Anyway, I wasn't in a sharing mood cos you cheated in the race." Izzy argued.
"I didn't cheat! That was an accident! A lucky one too, since it led me to this." Aiyon said.
"You are so selfish!" Izzy claimed.
"Ah, you're the one who said 'finders keepers'. It's not my fault you found an old collar." Aiyon said.
"But you found a case full of cash!" Izzy argued.
"And you're just throwing a tantrum cos you didn't get what you wanted." Aiyon countered.
"OK, now you're just being a jerk."
"Oh, am I? Well, I feel terrible! I'll just go shopping, maybe even get a frozen yoghurt. Make myself feel better."
Aiyon soon teleported out of the base as Izzy crossed her arms. "I hope he gets brain freeze." She said.

"You missed a spot." Amelia told me as her and I were polishing the sabers while Zayto and Javi were training in the background.
"Oh, yeah." I chuckled. "Thanks."
The alarm soon blared throughout the base. "Everyone, gather round. There's trouble in the city." Solon said.
"Whoa, that's one big beast."
"Wait, how can it be giant already?" Ollie asked.
"It shouldn't be. That's actually very concerning." Trent replied.
"Aiyon, come in. Aiyon?" Zayto questioned when he didn't get an answer. "Are you there?"
Zayto turned his comm off. "Why wouldn't he answer?" He asked.
"Like I said total jerk." Izzy said.
"Izzy. Not helpful." Javi told her.
"We'll have to go on without him. Come on." Zayto said.
