CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT - SERIOUS BUSINESS

I WAS AT BUZZBLAST WEARING a silver shirt with a gray flannel over it as I sat down next to Ollie. "Can you believe Void Knight? He gave us a real assist with that rotten Pumpkinface." Izzy said.
"Without him, we'd have been. . . leafy." Javi added.
"So maybe he's on our side now?" Amelia questioned, causing me to snort.
"Be for real, Melia. It's as I said before. Void Knight has been kicking our behinds for months and now he decides to switch sides? I'm not buying it. Villains like him don't change like that." I snapped my fingers as if to prove my point. "Well, unless they have an ulterior motive, which I'm sure Void Knight has."
"Dacoda makes a good point. It's probably another trick. He's caused so much pain and suffering. He'll never change. No way." Zayto agreed with me.
The door soon opened to reveal Jane. "Jane? Are you limping?" Amelia asked, getting up from her seat.
Jane laughed. "Wha. . . ? No. You're limping." She replied, walking past her.
"You forgot your crutch." J-Borg informed, trailing behind her.
"Shh! I don't want anyone to know what happened!" Jane grabbed the crutch from Jane. "It's embarrassing!"
She then gave the crutch to a female worker. "Enjoy!" She said before leaving.
"This is a very exciting day for the BuzzBlast livestream. Later today, it'll hit 10 million subscribers!" Jane announced as cheering was heard. "To celebrate, here are some of BuzzBlast's coolest clips ever."
A video of Jane soon appeared. "When people think BuzzBlast, they think 'cool teens doing cool things'. So enjoy these memories from the Buzz-past." She continued as the video showed Jane falling, making the workers laugh.
"Sure, we had some bumps and bruises along the way, but now we're a hit!"
The video then showed Jane falling down once more and the laugher continued. "That wasn't even a joke." Jane chuckled awkwardly before looking at the screen. "My twin sister, everyone!"
"You don't have a twin sister."
"You haven't met her! She lives in. . . New Zealand." Jane informed. "J-Borg! Turn it off!"
"Yeah, I'm trying. The computer is frozen." J-Borg replied.
"Do something!" Jane told her as the screen soon went offline. "Thanks, J-Borg."
"Uh, that wasn't. . . me. I-I didn't do that." J-Borg said as a kid in a mask soon appeared on screen.
"Hey. What's that?"
"Hey, BuzzBlasters." A distorted voice greeted.
"I think we've been hacked!" Jane exclaimed. Her statement caused all of us to turn.
