Chapter Fifteen: "New Friends."

"Babe, I'm sorry I didn't tell you, but you have to understand why." Jean pleaded to Mikasa. They'd been arguing for around ten minutes while everyone else just stood there watching.

"No, I really don't." Mikasa hysterically laughed. "All these years you've lied about your job, where you were all the time, and God knows what else. At least Eren knew within a few months about him!" She said pointing to Levi.

Everyone, besides Hange, Eren, and Levi, was confused about what Eren and Levi had to do with anything. It hadn't yet been announced they were together in a way. Eren was still waiting for the official title.

"For months I thought you were cheating on me but instead you were running off to- what? Kill people?" Mikasa hissed, her eyes glossing over.

"Mikasa-"

"Not now, Eren." She growled. She stood there shaking her head at Jean for what seemed like forever. Nobody knew exactly what to do, not that Levi was even paying attention.

Levi's focus was more on Eren's neck. Bruises and other marks were extremely noticeable, sure to be seen by everyone else.

"Come with me." He whispered in Eren's ear. Shivers were sent down his spine and the butterflies in his stomach erupted into madness.

Eren nodded and the two unnoticeably slipped away from the group. The hardest part would be getting through the crowd as people would want to chat with Levi or ask about Eren.

It was only eight in the morning and Hange had managed to invite half the population to Levi's house. People were already drinking champagne and other alcoholic beverages despite the early time, making Eren cringe.

Levi pushed passed the people, ignoring them when they tried to converse. Eren stayed right behind him the whole time, following Levi upstairs to his bedroom.

"Why'd we leave?" Eren asked, looking around Levi's bedroom. Levi dug through his closet looking for a hoodie.

"Here," Levi said, tossing him a blue hoodie. "Put that on."

"Okay..?" Eren said, pulling the hoodie over his head. "Why though?"

"Look at your neck." He said. "If anyone notices it could erupt a lot of questions that I don't want to answer. I doubt some didn't notice, but that doesn't mean others should."

"Aw, here I thought you were being nice and giving me clothes." Eren teasingly pouted, jutting out his bottom lip. Levi rolled his eyes and led Eren downstairs and back to the group.

While the rest were talking amongst themselves, Eren and Levi were almost to them when Eren heard his name brought up. He looked over at Levi who shrugged and continued to walk.

Once they approached the group, they all turned too look and the two in adoration. Just by their faces, Levi could already tell Hange dropped the bomb and his secret was out.

"We should all introduce ourselves to Eren!" Someone said, earning a nod from everyone.

"My name is Armin, Armin Arlert." A boy with blonde hair said. "And this is my girlfriend Annie."

Eren and Annie both smiled at each other with a wave. She was about to say something before she was interrupted.

"I'm really hungry- just kidding! My names actually Sasha, but my stomach is grumbling.." She whined the last part but still smiled sweetly to Eren.

"Connie." He nodded at Eren.

"Ymir."

"My name is Krista!"

"Petra Ral, nice to meet you, Eren!"

"Reiner, and that's Bertolt."

"Ooh, Eren this is so exciting!" Hange grinned and ran over to hug him. He winced at how tight her grip was but, reluctantly, hugged her back.

Levi pulled her off him and cleared his throat. "Hange it's too early in the morning for-"

"Is that your sweatshirt Eren's wearing?" She squealed.

Everyone else held their breath any time she interrupted Levi. Eren noticed them visibly stiffen, giving him the impression that even they were afraid of Levi. Hange did what the rest didn't dare to do. She always interrupts Levi, calls him names to his face, makes jokes, and much more. If it were anyone else, their heads were destined to a bullet shot through them.

"Hange, I'm not in the mood right now. There are people in my kitchen drinking vodka at eight in the morning, so I'm going to ask you once to get everyone out of my house." Levi said and walked away.

They all looked at Hange and then at Eren who shrank at all the eyes on him.

"So you're dating Levi..~ what's that like?" Petra whispered. Eren noticeable blushed and looked down at his feet.

"We're not necessarily dating, but it's good, I guess." He nodded and began to fidget with his fingers.

The group in front of him sensed how shy he was and toned down their excitement.

"You must think you're so lucky." Someone said from behind them. "He definitely is one hunk of a man, but after he bangs you, he's done with you. I should know." She winked.

"Naomi, respectfully, get the fuck away from us." Ymir grumbled. Naomi was the biggest slut the entire mob had ever met. She somehow managed to get in anyone's pants she wanted to and then ghost them after.

Levi only agreed because she asked — for the one hundredth time — on a day he had needed some kind of stress relief. After that though, she grew some kind of weird fetish-like obsession over Levi and stalked him like a crazy ex-girlfriend.

"Hmm.. alright." She said and winked, "I'll see you around."

Eren watched her walk away, not really knowing what happened. He was thinking of Levi and what she said about him before those thoughts were interrupted by Sasha.

"How about we all go to the club tonight, have some drinks,... some hookups.." she whispered the last part before turning to Eren and smiling, "and we can get to know you more! The alcohol will really loosen you up some!"

"That sounds like fun and all but I'm only twenty, I can't drink or get into clubs." Eren shrugged with a sigh. He wanted to go and get to know these people more.

"No big deal. Levi owns it so if we say you're with us, he wouldn't try to stop you." Ymir grinned and patted his back. "We'll all meet here at five to get ready and hopefully leave by eight or nine."

Everyone nodded and Eren smiled at the fact he made new friends. It wasn't hard for him to, but he wasn't in high school anymore, those friends that he used to have are all gone somewhere, whether that be college or leaving San Francisco.

"All you have to do is convince Levi."
