When I woke up next there were dresses, shoes, jewelry all around me, I yawned getting up.
"Manik" I screamed
"Good morning princess" he said coming in
"What the hell is this" I asked
"Your majesty, I mean your mother had came in with all this"
"Where is she" I asked
"Over here" I heard her voice
I turned to see her holding a blue tacky dress
"Yes" I said
"We have a success party tonight and you have to chose something from here" she said pointing at the dresses
"Not going to happen, actually mr malhotra and I are not going to be around" I said
I could feel his gaze on me
"You cannot miss this Nandini"
"Why not"
"The whole family needs to be there"
"I will talk to my father about it, now get out your highness" I said with so much sarcasm
"Watch your tone" she said
"I won't"
hearing that she just screamed and threw her stupid little fit like always and then left.
"Princess"
"Not now manik" I said getting out of bed
He walked over to me and tilted my chin up
"I like when you say my name" he said
Before I could react he left.

I picked an outfit and got ready after a few hours. I chose a light coloured skin high dress with a slight slit on it.
I walked out to see a whole bunch of humans dressed up, there were umm girls, guys, old, young god I hated this. I looked around but I couldn't find my bodyguard
"Nandini" I heard my dad's voice
"Dad" I siad turning around
"You look beautiful my child"
"Thank you"
"I need you to pick a place you want to see" he said
"Umm a place, I really want to see paris" I said
"Okay I will have manik book tickets"
"Wait why"
"Things are going to get dirty with the monarchy and your mother wants you to find a suitable husband"
"Hell to the no"
"Exactly so go with manik, he will keep you safe, I can trust him"
"Dad but this isn't right"
"I know Nandini but I cannot protect you like you want if you stay here"
"I understand" I said
He kissed my head walking away, I sat down and instantly spotted my bodyguard.
He walked over to me sitting beside me
"You look beautiful princess" he whispered
A whole freakin zoo erupted in my stomach, not just butterflies but the whole zoo
I don't know if it was an actual compliment but it made my heart beat a little faster
"Still adamant" I asked sipping on coke
