Manik's pov

When I left the palace a week ago, I couldn't function properly for hours, I kept moving my hand to reach out for nandini but she wasn't there obviously

I am so fucking whipped by her, a few months with her and I ma over here sulking when I am supposed to be doing my job.

This week was really hard for me knowing that I was not able to call her a lot or when she was up, knowing that she wasn't stepping out of our room.

Yup, I had James update me every few hours about her whereabouts and what she is up to, if she ate or not and he told me that she hadn't stepped out of the room, she would call navya in but she hasn't left the room

But finally I was going back, it took two weeks instead of one but I was on my way back after uncle had landed in South Africa

I hadn't told nandini that I was coming back yet, I wanted it to be surprise especially because she was pissed that I had to stay another week.

Finally I am going to sleep with her in my arms ahh im excited, so fucking excited to see that smile of hers.

after a long tiring flight I walked in the palace around 3 in the morning and instead of it being quiet, I heard yelling and cursing. I walked towards it and it was coming out of cabir's room so I walked closer

"Cabir" I siad walking in to see his cousin and another guy who is his cousin's friend

I looked around and saw nandini curled up with navya caressing her back

"Nandini" I whispered

Her eyes shot up and as soon as they met mine she burst out crying, she was bawling her eyes out throwing her arms to me

I pushed past Jayden and seb and stood in front of her

"Manik" she cried

I picked her up, her face in my neck as tears socked my t shirt. She wrapped her legs around my waist while he arms wrapped around my neck.

"Shh...shh baby im right here" I cooed kissing her head

she didn't say anything, she was just sobbing in my neck and her hold on me tightened

"Nandini shh"

"Please don't leave me" she kept repeating in my neck as she sobbed louder

being helpless I looked at cabir

"Mind enlightening me on what's gong on before I smash these two's face" I said pointing at them

"Seb flirted with Nandini and mother saw"

"What the fuck" I said glaring at seb who was frightened

"Our Mother made some shitty comments on her and stuff, I found her sobbing in your guy's room so I got her here" he said

"Ill deal with your mother later and you seb, keep your fucking eyes open while you sleep, you never know who can fucking stab you or kill you" I warned

"Man don't try threatening me, I didn't do shit"

"Ill find that out, and just know I can make it look like a fucking accident so if you a single finger on my girl you are done here" I said walking out of there

I walked out of cabir's room to our room, I shut the door not locking it knowing cabir will come check in on her in a bit.

I noticed how she hadn't gotten her sheets changed yet, everything was the same.

"Nandini darling you need to stop crying" I said sitting with her in my arms

she just shook her head holding me tighter
