BOKUTO CAME TO AN ANSWER THAT SHE, akaashi y/n was the literal version of her brother. she had that blank expression written on her face, that calm soothing voice, that cold attitude. however, she was a little more talkative than him, just a little bit. but what he saw the most was how everything about her screamed power and strength, despite what she's gone through. she looked fearless, feisty, untouchable. she on the other hand, found out that he was the guy whom akaashi would mention from time to another. she also found out that he was his best friend, akaashi never mentioned that, but since he was the only one who talked about to her, she knew that bokuto was indeed his closest friend.
she was walking around her brother's room, her fingertips running against the furniture. sure things have changed over the years, but most of them remained the same. the same little space where they used to play together, the same old paintings that were hanging on the light grey wall, the same manga collection with new volumes and series for sure. a sigh escaped her soft lips as she gently pulled the picture frame closer to her chest. a warmth slowly embraced her as she scanned the beautiful picture of her family. but once her eyes laid on her father, her smile disappeared. her eyebrows furrowed and she quickly put the frame back to its place. she shot one last glare at him before walking towards akaashi's bed.
her right eye twitched when she noticed how everything was messed up. sighing, she grabbed the pillows, one by one, that were on the ground and put them neatly on his bed after making it. bokuto was sitting on the chair, his eyes following every single move that y/n was making. he was amazed by how organized she was, she was really a copy of akaashi. a smile curled on his lips as he imagined akaashi's reaction when he sees her, he couldn't wait for the siblings to reunite after so many years.
once she finished cleaning his room, y/n sat on the edge of the bed facing bokuto. he was wearing that goofy smile of his which annoyed her. she grabbed her phone from her jacket's pockets and unlocked it before playing her favorite game. bokuto tilted his head to the side and quickly walked towards her then sat next to her on the bed. y/n's eyes widened once she felt his weight next to her. she turned to face him with a glare, mentally questioning him what was he doing.
"this game looks fun! can i play next?"
bokuto asked innocently as he looked at her with sparkly eyes. she rolled her eyes and pushed him away before lazily nodding her head. bokuto cheered quietly as he watched her play."y/n-chan! are you a second year too?"
the silverhead asked once more, a little loudly next to her ear which made her groan and give him the deadliest glare. realizing what he did, bokuto rubbed the back of his neck as he apologized repeatedly."mhm."
she kept her answers short as she focused on playing. bokuto was already used to the cold shoulder of akaashi that's why he didn't mind her cold attitude."you're just like agaashee!"
bokuto beamed, throwing his hands in the air.
y/n stopped what she was doing and glanced at him for few seconds before shaking her head and going back to playing her little game.
this guy's energy is on a whole different level.
"y/n-chan! do y—"
him asking the third question made her pause the game and face him before grabbing his shirt's collar."god why do you ask so many questions?! you gave me a headache."
bokuto parted his lips to say something but nothing came out, his lips formed a small frown. her expression slowly softened once she saw his innocent puppy-like expression.
