BOKUTO CRIED HIS HEART OUT WHEN IT was time to close the cafe. the staff kept apologizing even though it wasn't their fault. but bokuto being himself, wanted to stay with the cats a little longer, he even gave each, single cat a special name. y/n apologized to the managers on his behalf and dragged him out of the cafe.
aside from bokuto and his childish, dramatic behavior, the two had a fun evening at the cafe. they absolutely loved the heavenly desserts and enjoyed playing with the fluffy, friendly cats. y/n had a soft spot for animals, especially cats but it was hard for her to show that side of her to bokuto. after all, she didn't want to deal with his teasing for the rest of the day.

the walk towards home was filled with bokuto's cries and whines. she was already mad at him for acting like a baby who didn't get something he wanted. but she soon forgot about it when bokuto switched to his emo mode with his hair covering his eyes and his lips forming a frown. sighing, her fingers slowly slid down his arm until they reached his hand and she gently held it with her thumb caressing his palm.
bokuto's half closed eyes widened a little once he felt y/n's warm hand holding his.

"we'll go back there anytime you want so you can play with the cats again."
the last thing she wanted to see is bokuto's frown, he was annoying and all, but not being able to see that smile of his scared her. bokuto's eyes sparkled and he was quick to hold both of her hands as he leaned closer to her face, making her step back a little.

"anytime?"
his frown got wider as he impatiently waited for her response. gulping, she slowly nodded her head before looking away, facing the other side.

"HEY HEY HEY!! THANKS Y/N-CHAN!"
bokuto beamed as he jumped up and down. y/n shook her head with a sigh, trying to shake the foreign feeling that keeps bubbling inside of her whenever he's around her.

after a while of walking, they finally reached her house. puffing up her cheeks, y/n turned to face bokuto who was wearing his usual big smile. furrowing her eyebrows, she crossed her arms as she tilted her head to the side.

"stop smiling like a clown idiot."
bokuto chuckled before folding his arms behind his head as his smile got wider.

"you just make me happy y/n-chan, i hope I'm doing the same to you!"
pursing her lips together, she walked towards him and pinched his cheeks playfully, making him laugh loudly.

"no, you're annoying the crap out of me."
bokuto gasped dramatically causing her to scoff.
as she was about to walk towards her house, bokuto grabbed her wrist, making her stop and turn around.

"thank you for today, I had so much fun!"
the silverhead flashed her a bright smile as he kept shaking her hand.

"well.. thank you for taking me out i guess.."
she mumbled softly but bokuto heard it very loud and clear. and before she knew it, he was already hugging her tightly.

"so it was a date?!"
y/n's eyes widened and she tried to get out of his grip but he was too strong. sighing in defeat, she dropped her shoulders and rested her hands on his chest.

"in your dreams, you stupid owl.."
bokuto chuckled as he heard her muffled whining, shaking his head, he pulled back and patted her head before turning on his heels.
