With the clashing of steel, Val'dorn attacked.
The loud sound snapped Vanessa from her fearful thoughts, she grabbed her sword and stood ready to fight.
Dappert looked back at her and growled still fighting against Val'dorn's blade
"No matter what happens, don't attack him, if I tell you to run you fucking run, understood, Vanessa?"
Vanessa kept at the ready and nodded a reluctant agreement as she saw him crack a dim smile before he returned all his focus to the fight.
Dappert took Val'dorn by surprise pivoting his body to get into Val'dorn's open spot and took his second sword and stabbed it into his gut.
Vanessa watched in horror as Val'dorn took his sword and stabbed Dappert in the back, everything seemed to move in slow motion as the blood sprayed from his wound and onto the ground.
He gasped a bit before ripping his sword from Val'dorn's gut about to decapitate his enemy it was too late, he disappeared into thin air.
Dappert fell to his knees. As Vanessa watched him fall she threw her sword behind her and rushed right next to him
"This is all because of me..."
