After a few days of relaxation Dappert and Vanessa went off to see an old friend.
When they got to a house it had a barn out to the side with a couple horses grazing in the round pen.
Dappert knocked on the door backing up off the steps.
A woman with ebony black hair opened the door
she looked at Dappert in shock as she gasped.
"Dappert!? Everyone thought you were dead!"
He laughed
"Not dead, simply went into hiding."
"May we come in Obsidora, I will explain everything."
Obsidora smiled brightly
"Yes! Do come in, I'm sure it is an interesting story! You were gone for years!"
Vanessa stood awkwardly as the two spoke
Dappert looked over at her with his warm smile
"Well, now you show that you are a bit socially awkward around strangers, hmm?"
Vanessa huffed
"I'm simply just not a fan of strangers."
Dappert took her hand as Obsidora lead them inside closing the door behind them.
