Dappert lay awake with Vanessa sleeping at his side and Lighthowl sleeping next to her.
It was all quiet but he lay there in deep thought as he looked at Vanessa.
Something was haunting his mind, but he kept it to himself.
After a few minutes he would turn over onto his side to face Vanessa propping his head up with one hand
and with the other he caressed Vanessa's face.
He whispered
"I don't know whats going to happen but i know its going to push us to our limits..."
Vanessa involuntarily grabbed his arm and held it tightly and Dappert smiled
seeing her hold his arm as if it was a teddy bear that would save her from the monsters of the deep night.
He chuckled quietly knowing half of that was true but after a couple hours of laying awake he finally pulled Vanessa to his chest
falling asleep.
