Two of a Kind

  About a week passed sense the two travelers arrived at the mansion.
The day was sunny and warm so Dappert and Vanessa dressed into more casual attire.

Dappert took Vanessa's hand and walked her out of the mansion
into the late morning sun.
He took her to a hidden forest where the grass was a lush green and flowers bloomed
around them and the trees acting as pillars of serenity laying a thick blanket to protect them from the
heavenly golden sun.

Dappert spotted a patch of bright red flowers and he walked over and picked a few he turned to Vanessa
pulling out a perfectly sized flower he put it in her hair.
He looked into her eyes for a moment before putting his hand holding the bouquet of flowers on her waist
lightly pulling her close he took his other hand and brushed a strand of hair from Vanessa's face
before placing a kiss on her light pink lips.

Vanessa was taken by surprise and her cheeks lit up a bright red
she closed her eyes kissing him back he held her tighter.

Vanessa ended the kiss soon after pulling her body politely away from him.
Her face was flushed bright red like the flowers he had picked for her.
Out of embarrassment she punched his shoulder.

Dappert laughed running off
"Well, I guess you don't want these flowers then..."

Vanessa scoffed running after him
"Don't be such a fool, those are my favorite type of flowers!"

Dappert grinned
"Well, if you catch me you get the flowers and another kiss."

Vanessa blushed again
"So that's how its going to be, hmm? Challenge accepted!"

They laughed as the chase began.
