Chapter 10

Lucia was standing in front of his secret room from where his screams were coming. She took a deep breath and raised her hand to knock on the door. She knocked but no one opened the door and the screams got louder and louder.

Without having a second thought, she put her hand on the handle to open it but suddenly someone placed a hand on her hand preventing her from opening the door.

She looked in that direction and found Alice standing next to her. Lucia looked at her in confusion but Alice took her away from the door.

"Alice, what are you doing? Leave me." Lucia exclaimed.

"Shh... Don't create any sound. Lucia, I informed you no one is entitled to go in his room, especially at night." Alice said whispering in her ear.

"Alice, leave me."

Lucia again made her way to his room. Lucia was taking steps ahead and found that Alice was not making any move. She looked behind and noticed that Hercules had taken her with him.

They thought Lucia did not see them but little did they know that she already did. She ignored that and again made her way to Lucifer's secret room.

She raised her hand, not to knock but to open the door and she did. When her eyes scanned the room, shivers ran down her body. Seeing the scene in front of her, she wanted to yell but she put her hand on her mouth not to scream.

Lucifer was lying on the floor, unconscious. He was lying on his stomach, his back was covered in blood, this was the scene she already had seen when she found blood on his shirt.

Fading away all her thoughts, she ran to him and put his head in her lap. She called his name many times but he lay still, unconscious. She called for help but no one had the guts to enter his room.

She thought for a minute and put her lips on his. She closed her eyes and kissed him. She broke the kiss and looked at him. What was she thinking? Was he Cinderella? Her eyes got teary looking at him still lying unconscious.

"Please, wake up please"

She cried tears dropping from her eyes like heavy rain. A tear dropped on Lucifer's face which unexpectedly made him come back to his senses. He slowly opened his eyes and was shocked when he looked at her, crying like a mess.

"What happened?" He said lying in her lap and looking up at her. She stopped crying and cleared her blurry vision only to see him smiling at her.

"You are awake!!" She exclaimed.

She helped him to stand up and made their way to his room. She made him lay on his bed and put herbs on his wound. She was sure this time that it was a sword mark on his back. In all this, no one said anything.

"What's happening here?" She said and her eyes became wet again.

"This world is like this Lucia, mysterious. No one knows what will happen in a minute. You have to train yourself to settle here." He replied.

He sat up and removed tears from her red cheeks with his thumb.

Feeling his cold thumb on her cheeks, she closed her eyes and felt his coldness. He pulled her in a hug and she hugged him more tightly.

"Why are you sobbing?" He asked hugging her.

"I miss my Gammy." She replied.

"You wish to visit her?"

"Can I?" she asked and he nodded.

He took her to her room and put her to sleep. He turned off the lights and went out of her room.

Lucia was standing in front of her house. She made her way in and stood in the living room. She saw her mom cooking, her sisters cleaning and her grandmother chopping vegetables.

She saw a beautiful smile on her grandmother's face which she never had seen before. Everything seemed fine until Lucia heard Alice's voice. She looked behind her and her eyes opened.

She found herself in her bed, in another world. She wasn't upset but happy instead because Lucifer already told him that she could see her only in her dreams.

Today's the start of the wedding ceremonies of Prince Fergus. Lucia didn't know what was going to happen, what kind of wedding it would be, what she had to do. So, she called Alice into her room.

"Milady, pack your things. All the Royal family, you, and personal servants are going to the Zhou kingdom." Alice told Lucia.

"We are going there!!" She exclaimed. "For how many days?"

"For nearly five or six days. Wedding traditions will be occurring there." She told Lucia and left.

Lucia packed her dresses and sat on her bed. "I will ask Lucifer about last night. What was that? Why his back was covered with blood? Is there something that is happening and that's not good? This is just like finding the way out of the maze." She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

She got outside and saw everyone present there. Annabelle, Harry, and Yasmine, with their maids, were sitting in a royal cart that was loaded with different flowers.

Marcel, Adrian, and Fergus were on Royal white horses. Her gaze started shifting to find Lucifer. She saw King Anthony in a Cart talking to Hercules.

Alice came from inside and took her begs and placed them in a cart. They all started leaving the palace. One last time, Lucia scanned the whole place to see Lucifer but there was no trace of him. She sat in her cart and it made its way behind the other.

When her cart reached the gate of the palace, her cart stopped which made Lucia look outside only to find him, riding on his horse, Cruella. A pretty smile made its way onto Lucia's face when she saw him.

"Do you want to join?" He got off the horse and came to Lucia. He extended one hand to hold Lucia's hand. She placed her hand on his, looking deep into each other's eyes, and came out from the cart. Lucifer sat on the horse and Lucia sat behind him.

Seeing sweet talk between them, Alice looked at them until they disappeared. Love could be seen in their eyes but no one has confessed yet. "The day is not far when An Angel and A Devil will be together." She said and smiled.
