Chapter 12

Fergus was standing in front of Lucifer. Lucifer looked behind to see that old man but he wasn't there. Fergus took Lucifer with him to start the ceremony that they were going to arrange.

When Lucifer arrived at the palace garden, he started looking for Lucia but she was nowhere to be found. Suddenly, someone put a hand on Lucifer's shoulder which made him look at the figure standing behind him.

He turned to look back at where Lucia was standing with a flirty smirk. He squinted his eyes and looked suspiciously at her. She held his hand and turned to move where everyone was assembled.

Lucia was standing very close to Lucifer. Lucifer looked at her but didn't say anything. Fergus and Eliana were sitting on their knees and in front of them, a big bowl was placed full of a blue color liquid substance.

Lucia was smiling at them. "Do you understand what they are doing?" Lucifer whispered in her ears.

Lucia was still smiling and nodded. "Yes, I do." She replied. Lucifer frowned "And how?" "This is not the foremost time I am witnessing this." she laughed loudly.

But eventually stopped when she realized what she just said. "Ah..h. I mean someone told me." She tried to ignore the situation but Lucifer was already doubting her because his gut feeling was telling him something else.

"No milady, I didn't notify you." A voice came behind them. They both turned to see the figure behind them, only to see Alice standing behind them.

"Hey, who questioned you?" Lucia angrily said. Lucifer smirked and looked deep into her eyes. After staring into her eyes, he looked at Alice and Alice nodded. Lucia looked at them in confusion. Her head was all sweaty.

Lucifer dragged her and came inside the palace. He pushed her hard pinned her against the wall and held her neck tightly. He said grinning his teeth "Do you know why people call me devil?" Lucia's heartbeat stopped, hearing his words. She knew she had no escape now.

On the other hand, a girl was lying unconscious, on the floor, her head resting on the chair. After some time, she blinked several times. Her eyes widened when she remembered what happened to her a few minutes ago. Lucia looked around to seek help but didn't see anyone.

She wanted to scream and cry for help but no one was there because she was alone in a dark basement and there was bare moonlight.

Lucifer looked into her eyes and held her neck tightly in his big muscular hand. "Who are you?" Lucifer said, his face was red because someone tried to hurt Lucia which was enough to call the devil hidden inside him.

Lina, who was disguised as Lucia came into her real self and started choking hard. Seeing her condition, Lucifer dropped her to the ground and reached her level on his knee level.

"Where is she?" He screamed at her face. "S..she..is..in..b..base..ment" she badly stuttered and zoned out. Lucifer made his way to the basement. His eyes changed their color from golden to flame red. His veins popped out making his aura more dangerous. The good thing was no one was there who could see this condition.

All the things that the old man told him, now what Lina tried to do made him madder. He needs to protect Lucia at any cost. The thing that just happened in front of Lucifer made Lucifer unnoticed the changes that happened to him for the first time.

He was passing through the rooms. when his eyes suddenly stopped at a large mirror placed in front of the hall, Lucifer was shocked to see his reflection. He noticed his figure standing in the mirror with red eyes and popped veins.

His mind goes blank when he hears the crying of a girl. She was gritting her teeth due to the cold and didn't even make sounds that were not audible but Lucifer heard it from miles away.

He made his swiftness to the basement where Lucia was crying but when he opened the door, he was shocked because no one was there in the basement. He started looking around but couldn't find her.
