Chapter 25

"Lucifer, Lucifer!" a voice reached his ears which made him immediately open his eyes. Seeing himself in an unfamiliar place, he was shocked and put his hands on his head trying to remember what happened to him earlier.

He looked at the man whose voice earlier reached his ears. He cleared his blurry vision and tried to focus on his surroundings. "Who are you?" the words came out of his mouth.

"You will get to know. Wear this. King Nicholas wants to meet you." the man wearing royal servant clothes said to him giving him new clothes to wear.

Lucifer got up from the bed and put on the outfit which the man gave him. Lucifer found himself in a dark old room. He tried to remember what happened to him but failed. His mind was showing him black-and-white flashes but no memories.

"Who am I?" He asked himself. He couldn't remember anything without his name Lucifer.

The royal servant again came and took Lucifer with him. On the way, he examined his surroundings, a dark and gloomy place.

After taking many turns, they finally entered the hall where no one without a man and few royal servants was present. Lucifer had chains all over his hand so he couldn't move his hands.

"Welcome, Lucifer. I've been waiting for you for twenty-five days and you! You kept making me wait for so long." a man who appeared to be king of this place. His back facing him.

"What do you mean?" Lucifer asked. _You don't remember Lucifer, what happened to you?" The man said facing him. Lucifer tried to remember everything but failed. He tried to remember this man standing in front of him but failed.

"Who are you?" Lucifer again asked. "I'm your father Lucifer, I'm Nicholas. Why are you acting like you don't remember?" Nicholas said faking his emotions in front of Lucifer. "My father? What are you talking about?" Lucifer said confused.

"Yes son, you started acting weirdly a month back and after a few days, you started harming others. You even injured many servants. Unfortunately, we had to keep you in a secret locked room. Now, you woke up and asked who am I. Maybe you have lost your memories. Oh, Lord!" Nicholas told Lucifer. He had no other choice rather to believe him.

His mind was forcing him to believe what that man was saying but his heart was telling him something else. Shrugging all thoughts, he focused on his mind not like he had other options.

"Father! I am your son if you are saying so" Lucifer said more like whispered. "Come, son! Hug your father." Nicholas said raising his arms towards Lucifer. He had to but he didn't want to.

"It's alright son. I'll help you. Your memories will come back with time." Nicholas said hugging Lucifer.

A woman came out of thin air and stood beside them. Lucifer with a shocked expression was looking at her. He looked at Nicolas and gave him a questionable look.

"Who is she?" He asked. "Son, she is your fiancee. You both love each other and were planning to get married soon but look at the situation now." Nicholas said pointing at the woman standing frozen in front of him.

"Oh," Lucifer said looking at her. The women still stood frozen. Nicholas shook her arm and she came back to her senses. "Lucifer!" she spoke and ran to him. She hugged him tightly but he didn't hug her back.

"Lucifer, Lucifer, I'm Lina. Remember?" she said. His mind gave him signals that she was familiar but he couldn't remember her as well. "No, I don't know you," Lucifer said and backed off.

"What are you saying Lucifer? You love me and I love you. What's the matter?" Lina said. "Father, I don't plan to marry her until my memories return." Lucifer simply said.

"What? Dad, What is he saying?" Lina turned to face Nicholas and cried. "It's okay Lina. He will marry you one day. You can wait princess." Nicholas said supporting him.

"Lucifer, take rest. You need it. Lina, can you check on him later?" Lina nodded making a pout. The royal servant took Lucifer with him and gave him a room. "Prince Lucifer, this is your room," he said and left him alone. He stood in front of the mirror and said "Lucia!''
