Chapter 11

They reached the Zhou kingdom. Lucia was amazed to see the palace and the town. On her way to the palace, she enjoyed herself a lot and had fun with Lucifer. She even told him about her family there, her culture, and the festivals they celebrate there.

Lucifer had made a good picture of him in Lucia's eyes. She thought of him as her best friend. She started trusting him and even she started to enjoy his company. Whenever he's around, she somehow feels safe. She feels that she has a connection with him.

The way the people of the Zhou kingdom showed up in front of them, made Lucia widen her eyes. Their clothes looked golden like they were made of gold from head to toe. They reached the gate of the palace where the King and Queen of the Zhou kingdom were standing for their welcome.

Lucia and all the four princes got off the horse. Princesses got out of the Royal cart. King and Prince Marcel were standing in front of everyone. The King of Zhou and the King of Malwia Kingdom shake hands showing their same standard.

Lucia was trying to see what was happening there. She saw the Queen, Princess Lina, and Princess Eliana standing behind the King.

Lucia noticed that Lina was staring at her for a long time. She shifted her gaze to find Alice. Alice was standing with another maid behind them. Alice noticed Lucia giving her a gesture to come to her. She went to Lucia and told the meeting ceremony happening between the two kings.

After standing there for some time, they all made their way to the palace. Lucia saw Lina still staring at her but she ignored her and made her way behind them inside the palace.

"This is huge," Lucia said to Alice while looking around the palace which was decorated with lights and flowers.

Lucia went to her room which was given to her. Her room was also decorated with lights from inside because she was a special guest too.

At midnight, everyone gathered around in the garden of the palace where all the guests were enjoying each other's company. Lucia entered the garden and noticed that this wasn't something she had seen in her world.

All the people who were invited were the Royal families of neighboring Kingdoms. All were wearing Royal coats and gowns. Guards were standing at every corner. Servants were serving guests the Holy fruit that Lucia ate in her world before entering here.

Lucia saw Eliana and Fergus settle on the two Royal chairs. Lina was also standing beside them talking to her friends. Lucia started moving her gaze to find Lucifer who was standing alone holding a drink.

Lucia made her way to Lucifer but stopped when she saw a familiar figure standing in her way.

"Princess Lina, what are you doing here?" Lucia said with a fake smile on her face.

Lina smirked at said, "I wanna show you something, come with me."

She held Lucia's wrist and dragged her inside the palace. Lucia looked at Lucifer last time but continued walking with Lina. She couldn't say anything to Lina because she was in her own Kingdom.

Lina took her to an empty basement and pushed her making her fall to the ground. "What are you doing?" Lucia yelled at her but she didn't reply. She stood up again.

What she saw with her own two eyes made her blink several times to think whether that was real or not. She saw Lina's feet flying in the air and black smoke forming behind her back. She knew at that moment that she wasn't a real human. She was a witch.

Lucia fell to the ground because of the trembling of her legs. All the things Millie told her were flashing through her mind and she was seeing them turning into reality. Lina came close to her and put her hand on her head and closed her eyes.

On the other hand, everyone was maintaining a distance from Lucifer because he was feared by all and he was a devil disguised as a man according to them. He again started hearing sirens of something whispering in his ears but as usual, he ignored it.

He saw a figure standing far from him keeping his eyes on Lucifer. It was something, only he could see.

When he was a kid, he had a feeling of someone keeping an eye on him but whenever he tried to talk about it to his mother, she always told him that it was something only he could see and that shadow would stay with him till the biggest secret of his life wasn't revealed to him.

Sometimes he even saw that shadow in his dreams, which sometimes caused his entire body to pain like someone kept stabbing his body.

Lucifer saw that shadow and started making his way to him. It was the first time when he saw a familiar figure instead of that shadow in front of him.

When he reached there, he understood that he was an old man and he even saw him when he was a kid. He saw him once in his kingdom when he came to meet his mother.

He was shocked because he didn't age. He was looking as same as he was years ago like in his eighties. Lucifer bowed in front of him like he did when he first met him. He bowed because his mother told him to when she introduced him to Lucifer for the first time that he was her guide.

"Who are you?" Lucifer asked him when that old man took him far from the palace in the woods. Lucifer noticed that his feet weren't touching the ground.

"I'll inform you everything Lucifer but when the right time comes. You are in threat and Lucia is in danger too. You have to rescue yourself and her as well." Hearing Lucia's name, lucifer was again stunned.

"How do you know her?" He asked but the figure disappeared when they heard someone's footsteps coming their way.
