"Granny." She closed her eyes while her Grandma hugged her tightly.

"Lucia," Granny's trembling voice reached her ears which made her cry more. All her pains and her suffering made their way through her eyes in the form of tears.

"I'm sorry. I left you. I am so sorry." Lucia left her and looked into her eyes.

"Lucia, don't cry. See your mother is also her. Meet her too." Her grandma said to her.

She ignored her words and said "I am tired Grandma. I want to eat. Will you feed me with your hands!" She said.

Her Granny nodded. She gave her mother a nod which meant that she would tell her, to treat her mother as a mother.

After they were done eating, Lucia went to her room and threw herself on her bed. She stared at her ceiling and thought that nothing had changed. It was the same as it was. Her room, her things, and her clothes were in their place but her room was cleaner now.

Her Granny came in. Lucia got up from bed and laid her head on Granny's lap.

"I miss this Granny!"

Her Granny touches her head and said

"I miss you more honey! But who missed you more than me is your mother."

"That's not possible."

"But it is true. She cried every night, hoping for your return. She didn't eat for a week when you left. She felt guilty for treating you badly."

Lucia was shocked. She thought it couldn't be true but her Granny is telling her so it must be true.

"You should talk to your mother."

She said and left. Lucia lay on her bed again, staring at the ceiling. She thought about Sophelia. She did know about her, whether she was a good mother or a bad mother. But after talking to her, she came to know that she had her situation.

Is it possible that her mother had reasons to treat her this way? What had her Granny just told her, was it true? She should talk to her and find the truth. At last, She is her mother.

Hearing her thoughts in her mind, she got up from her bed and went in front of her mother's room. She raised her hand to knock but stopped. She heard sobs from inside and She knew it was her mother's.

Her sobs stopped when Lucia knocked on the door. Stacy, her mother, wiped her tears when she saw Lucia standing at the door. Stacy gave her a fake smile because she didn't want her to find out about her crying.

"Lucia, do you need something, water? Sit here, I'll get it for you."

Stacy got up to get out of the room but Lucia stopped her.

"I heard you cried and didn't eat for a week when I left. Is it true?" Lucia asked without emotions.

"I..I...I'm sorry my child!" Stacy said and hugged her while crying.

"It's all my fault. I am sorry. I am a bad mother. I didn't do it intentionally. It's just because of your father. You know how much we hate him. When you were in my belly, u wanted to kill me, not because I hate you, just because I didn't want you to grow up having him as your dad."

"Then why do you treat me that way?" Tears filled in her eyes.

"I am sorry. I always saw you as his child. I forgot I forgot that you were my child also, my responsibility. I hated him so much. You know that you look like your dad. I don't know what got over me, I treated you like that. When you left, then I realized what I had done to you. I felt guilty every night, I cried every night and prayed every night and day to get you back. I am so sorry my child. Please forgive your cruel mother."

Hearing her mother's confession, Lucia couldn't hold her tears back. They started flowing like a river. Lucia hugged her and Stacy hugged her more tightly.

Stacy is her mother and She can't ignore to fact. Mothers forgive every sin of their children then why Lucia can't they?

"Promise me you'll never treat me like that again!" She said with a heavy heart.

"Promise my child. I'll give you all of my love, all of my prayer which I never gave to you."

"I am happy mom, I am back home."
