The girl was now looking at him with a smirk on her face. Luke swallowed.
"Um I-" he cleared his throat. "Hi."
"Hello." She said, dragging out the o. "And what is your name?" She walked halfway up the stairs to meet Luke.
"Luke hemmings." He said nervously, watching as her eyes flickered around his face. Something about her made luke feel uncomfortable. He wasn't feeling like himself, and he hated it.
"Well Luke, I just saved your life. That girl isn't as good as sex as she thinks she is." She smirked, and leaned against the wall, looking at Luke with her eyebrows raised.
The rest of the party seemed to fading away into the background as they talked. "We weren't going to have sex. I um." Luke looked down at his feet, he couldn't keep looking into her hazel eyes that seemed to see straight through him.
"Yes?" She questioned. There was certain twinkle in her eye that gave Luke the idea that she already knew what Luke was going to say.
"Can I have your number? Just for important things and stuff. I mean if you don't want to give it to me that's fine, I mean I'm nothing really special. But you interest me, and I can't help but-"
The girl laughed a very laugh unlike her personality. It was loud, but delicate at the same time. It was sweet to the ears as she threw her head back and closed her eyes. A smile was on her face as if she were having the best time of her life. Maybe she was.
"I'm very flattered hemmings." She finally stopped laughing and looked him straight in the eyes with a soft smile. "Of course I will."
Luke smiled. "Cool." The girl took his phone and typed in her number cheerfully. She literally just experienced every emotion in five minutes. Luke thought, smiling to himself.
The girl handed the phone back. "Bye Luke." She smiled and started to walk down the stairs.
"Wait!" Finally lukes brain turned on. "What's your name!"
The girl turned around and smiled mischievously. "You'll find it in your phone." With that, she disappeared into the crowd.
He checked the new number on his phone. Alexandra.

Luke got home with a new phone number in his pocket. He smiled softly to himself as he took off his jacket. He fell onto the couch in the living room with a sigh. What a night.
It was 4am and everything that had happened in the past hours seemed so unreal. He thought about the girl he saw, the same girl who gave him her number.
He heard light snores coming from michaels bedroom and Luke decided to check on him. He lightly opened the door to find not just Michael, but Calum, the boy from the movie theater, his wrapped tightly around michaels torso. Lukes mouth opened in surprise.
Calum mumbled in his sleep and dug his head deeper into the crook of michaels neck. Luke swallowed and began to sway. He had just noticed how tired he really was. He leaned against a bookcase for support, making the worlds loudest squeak in the wood floor. both sleeping boys sat up and rubbed their eyes wearily.
Michael looked at Luke his eyes wide.
"Out!" He yelled, pointing to the door. Lukes eyes were wide and he mouthed a 'sorry' but Michael was livid. Calum just stared as Luke ran out of the room, his face bright red.
Luke caught his breath outside in the hall. Michael and Calum? Yes. Finally.
He walked into his room, sitting on the side of his bed. He couldn't sleep. He couldn't stop thinking about her. And how captivating she was. Then a thought dawned on him. What was her zodiac sign?!
