"Still can't believe you would do that Luke." Michael grumbled, fixing himself some Mac and cheese from the box. Calum had left around noonish and they were talking about what had happened.

"I went to check on you Michael, not to watch you and another boy cuddle." Luke huffed, swirling around in one of the chairs next to the counter. "I'm not into that kind of stuff."

"Whatever." Michael mumbled. "I'd rather you not even check on me-"

"I'm your best friend!" Luke said, throwing his hands into the air. Michael glared at Luke, but didn't say anything. He kept stirring the boiling pasta.

"How was the party?" Michael asked, changing the subject.

Luke smiled. "I met a girl."

Michael raised his eyebrows. "Wait don't tell me, before she even could say anything you made sure to figure out what your compatibility was."

Luke shook his head solemnly. Michael scrunched his eyebrows . "You didn't?"

"No " Luke sighed. "I was just so caught up in the moment. She was so beautiful."

Michael laughed. "You got her number right? Why not just ask her now?"

"Because!" Luke said, slightly frustrated, "that would make me officially the-not-cool-dude." He threw his hands in the air to emphasize the 'not-cool-dude' part.

Michael kept laughing. "Wow. You are really lame."

"Am not." Lukes cheeks got red. He tried to think of something to say that would get Michael equally embarassed. "So did you and Calum kiss?"

He was right. Michaels cheeks flushed red. "Uh, yeah. We actually did." A small smirk crept onto his lips. "He brought up zodiac signs though."

"Wait, for real?" Luke said, his face scrunching up.

"Yeah." Michael said after a moment. "It was kind of cute though."

Luke rolled his eyes. "Still not sure why you aren't all over me."
