------Jason's POV------

It’s been a week since I told Lucas everything. I haven’t talked to him at all other than greeting him at school and general stuff like that. On one hand, I could feel that life was different, less enjoyable. On the other hand, I finally felt like I had time to process everything that’s happened lately, and to focus on who I am.

I ended up spending my weekend at Arden’s Arcade, working with Thor. After I got to know him better, he actually started becoming one of my better friends. The Friday after my talk with Lucas, Lana had us close early because she was going to a wedding and gave us the evening off. I normally would have hung out with Lucas, but obviously I couldn’t, and Evan was gone for the weekend visiting Brandin.

I headed outside, while Thor locked up. I thought about my options of where I could go.

“Hey, Jason!” Thor called. “You have anywhere to be tonight?”

Well that was interesting. “No, why?”

“I want to introduce you to my better half.”

“Really?” Thor finally made a choice! That’s awesome. But something told me that there was more to it than just that.

“Well, that and I know you. You’re gonna go home and be alone on a Friday night because you and your boyfriend had an argument.”

Ok what the heck? “Lucas isn’t my boyfriend,” I denied, blushing and looking away.

“Oh please, I’ve seen the way you two look at each other. He comes in just to talk to you, and you’re always together, or at least you were. What happened by the way?”

I sighed. “Look, I don’t want to talk about it. Let’s just leave it at we argued and I can’t forgive him right now.” I turned to look at Thor, smiling softly. “But I’d love a distraction right now. You sure she’ll be okay with it?”

“Yeah, it’ll be totally cool. Come on.” He gestured for me to follow him. He waited for me to walk next to him before slinging his arm over my shoulder and walking me to the subway.

We just talked for the next half hour about random things, school (he was taking AP History and was bored out of his mind), movies (I talked about Disney’s newest movie, Moana, and how much better it was than Frozen, while he just laughed and ruffled my hair), and the football team (they hadn’t made it to the playoffs yet, but if they won their next game, they’d make it).

Finally, we made it to an apartment that kind of reminded me of…

“Does your girlfriend live with Spiderman?”

Thor did a double take. “What?”

“From Civil War? Spiderman lives in an apartment just like this.”

“Huh, I never noticed,” Thor said, shrugging. He seemed to smile a little bit though.

We walked up a couple flights of stairs before we stopped in front of a door. “Now, Jason, don’t freak out.”

Before I could say anything else, a door opened and a guy that looked just like Tom Holland walked out. “Hey Thor,” he said, before kissing him.

I’m pretty sure my brain melted a little bit, but after they surfaced for air, I yelled, “You’re dating SPIDERMAN?”

They both started laughing, before Thor finally explained. “I’m not dating Spiderman. Spiderman is fictional, and Peter here is very real.”

I arched an eyebrow, “Peter?”

They both laughed again. “I’m not Peter Parker,” the so-called “Peter” said, “as cool as that would be. I’m Peter Hansen, it’s nice to meet you.” He stuck out a hand for me to shake.
