Tbh Atsushi deserves better but I rlly love them platonically. Definitely one of my favourite complex friendship duos.
Also, even if they did have feelings for eachother, I feel like they would choose to avoid them instead of actually saying them.
I do like it a bit more than soukoku tho. Mainly because of Akutagawa.
I feel like they would be those bfs who can go weeks ignoring eachother after an argument but still miss eachother very dearly. 😂
