I'm a strong believer in Mori discrimination and I say that Chuuya deserves better than that old man (obviously cuz age gap but we're talking about how horrible Mori is).
I believe that Mori respects Chuuya's position in the Mafia but at the same time, knowing how strong Chuuya is, he can't afford Chuuya to turn on the Mafia as he has stable connections and overwhelming strength. This is mainly because of him being the vessel of Arahabaki but Mori also knows that once Chuuya turns on the Mafia, he won't be able to get him back as Chuuya does have a strong sense of loyalty. Because of this, I head-cannon that Mori tries to be kind enough to Chuuya to make him stay as he doesn't want to lose such a strong member.
I'll always hate Mori but I won't disrespect people who enjoy his character. I'll just keep making fun of Mori as I should.
