I.
It's been going on for weeks now. Jimin was getting tired of it but she would never lose. No matter how early she'd have to get up to win, she'd never stop.

And this was another morning. She got up early and went to the restroom, leaving her partner in bed. She quickly washed up and tried to quietly leave, but when she looked over, the place she left Minjeong in was empty. Only the messy sheets were laying on the bed.

"Shit." She ran out and turned a corner to go to the kitchen. "Motherfucker." She muttered at the view in front of her.

Minjeong was happily sitting at the dining table with a very desirable coffee mug in hand.

"What's wrong love?" Minjeong smiled as she took a sip out of her hot drink.

"Nothing. Where'd you even wash up? Gross..." She muttered the last part.

"We do have a guest bathroom for a reason, my love." She smirked. "Something else seems to still be bothering you though. Wanna share?"

"Your mug." She glared as she grumbled her way to the counter to grab the other mug in the set.

"Oh this?" Minjeong remarked, feigning innocence. "It's just a simple portrayal of my love for you."

Jimin grit her teeth as she poured the hot beverage into her mug. As she turned around, she gasped in surprise and almost spilled her drink as Minjeong stood right behind her.

"Geez, Minjeong. That could've ended badly." She set the drink down on the counter as she was whipped back around to meet Minjeong's smug smile.

"But you know I'm right here. Even if it did end badly, I'll always be with you. Would you like me to tell you why?" She softly said as she leaned her face closer to Jimin's.

Jimin couldn't maintain the smile growing on her face and let Minjeong touch their noses together. "Why?" She replied.

Right as Jimin closed her eyes when she saw the distance less than half an inch away, she felt Minjeong pull back and sip on that darn coffee mug that the taller girl was too late to grab.

"Because I love you more." Minjeong chuckled in victory as she glanced over at Jimin's mug that said 'I love you'. "You better drink your coffee before it gets cold, my love."

Jimin grumbled under her breath as she picked up the cup and took a sip the same time as Minjeong, both of them never breaking eye contact.

She saw another smirk grow on Minjeong's face as the latter quickly swallowed. "Aw, you love me?" She playfully asked as she looked at Jimin's mug. Minjeong slightly raised her hand with the mug. "I love you more."

She pecked Jimin's lips and happily walked over to the fridge to start their breakfast.

II.
Minjeong got up to get ready for work. Jimin was still sound asleep when Minjeong leaned down to leave a kiss on her forehead.

After washing up, she left the bathroom to notice Jimin already gone from the bedroom. She quickly changed into some business pants and her grey button-up, but held her blazer in her hands before heading out. When she arrived at the kitchen, she saw the love of her life sipping on her morning coffee with that darn coffee cup they both were obsessed with.

"Morning, my love." Jimin said with an easy smile on her lips as she handed Minjeong her travel mug with her coffee already made.

They had their peaceful mornings like these as well. Jimin starting her work an hour after Minjeong spared their neighbors the ruckus.

"Morning." Minjeong replied and leaned in to leave a chaste kiss on her lips. She grabbed her travel mug and took a sip as she hummed with pleasure. "Perfect as always."
