When Lloyd and Rumi were 4, they always played together. They were the best of friends. While the other boys were playing fighting or playing soccer and the other girls playing princess, Lloyd and Harumi played Catch together or Hide and Seek.
Everyone thought this was just a kids' play. They never thought that this was just the start of their story.
Even in school, these two did everything together. Projects, staying together during breaks and sitting next to each other. Of course, some students laughed at them or said "ooohhh... the LOVE couple heheheheh" but Lloyd and Harumi didn't care at all. They knew they were just best friends.
But then in 9th grade, Lloyd's feelings changed. Every time Harumi smiled or looked at him, he started to feel nervous. He blushed. He hid his face so she did not notice. And she did not.
In 10th grade, Harumi started feeling the same as Lloyd. One time in summer in sports, the boys were allowed to take off their shirts because it was too hot outside. And Lloyd definitely was too hot for Harumi. She looked at his muscles for minutes. Her head just kept saying: "Damn, he's hot". But she thought it would be wrong. "I mean, I can't feel something like this for my best friend... RIGHT?" But she couldn't stop her growing feelings for him.
He is cute, a real gentleman, and he knows her better than everyone. Even more than her parents.
Now they're in 12th grade. 6 months until their graduation...
And both know... they have to tell each other before it's too late...
