Teenage Romance - Or More Than That? (PAUSED)

4: New Art And New Dress

It was a hot Sunday morning. The sunlight reached Harumis face. She yawned before she opened her eyes. The first thing she thinks about is Lloyd's message from yesterday evening.
Quickly she grabbed her phone to check if this was just a stupid dream.
She turns on her phone, goes to the Messanger, and searched for Lloyds profile. She found it and clicked on the chat.
"He wrote that... Was it... just a joke? Or was it meant for sure...?"

Harumi was too confused to think anymore and puts her phone away.
She sits up and swings her legs out of bed.
Then she puts on her pink slippers before she stands up.
Like every morning, the first thing she does is go to the bathroom. She brushes her teeth, combs her hair, and does her
make-up. This includes mascara, not too much, a little bit of Rouge and eyeshadow.
Sometimes she even puts eyeliner on, but not today.
After finishing in the bathroom she went back to her room.
Harumi goes to her wardrobe to find something to wear.
There are a few hoodies, t-shirts, pullovers, jeans, shorts, skirts, and dresses.
She decided to wear a loose white dress that accentuates her curves.
She walks to her mirror.
"If only Lloyd could see me in this. I still feel unsure if it's right to fall in love with your best friend from childhood. But I did. And I can't deny this..."

Like every morning she makes her breakfast. A roll. On one half she puts cheese and on the other half honey.
While she was making her roll, she turned on the coffee machine.
She puts a plate, a fork, a knife, and a spoon on the table, grabbed a cup for her coffee, and sat down. When she finished the first half of her roll the coffee machine rang to tell, that the coffee's ready.
She stands up and takes the cup with her.
After getting her coffee she finished her breakfast.

It was 2 pm. Harumi sits at her desk and draws.
She tries a new art style. She always drew just Anime but now she tries to draw more realistically.
Well, it's not looking realistic, but also not Anime.
She decides to call it "her Artstyle".
She has a mirror standing in front of her. She tries to draw herself. But that's not as easy as it seems.
She finished her eyes, her nose, and her mouth.
After having the sketch, she colored it.
This whole drawing took her about 2h.
The problem is, she does not have good art supplies. She just has pens and colored pencils and so on from the grocery store.
Her paper isn't very good too.
But she thinks just the progress is the fun part, so she ignores all that.
Also, she is not drawing by herself for a long time. It just has been some months.
After finishing, she looks at her work.
"I think, that's fine. Not like a pro but still not bad for the time, I drew by myself. I'm just not okay with the eyes and the mouth. I should learn to draw this."

This is a drawing of mine. I did this around 4 months ago when I started drawing people. Back then, I did not know how to draw eyes, noses, or mouths. XD Please don't hate me for that.)

She puts it to her other artworks and leaves her room.

After thinking about what she could do now, she decided to go shopping.
Harumi takes the bus. It took around 30min to reach the middle of the city.
There is a big shopping center, where she always buys everything.
There are shops for food, clothes, furniture, decorations, and more.
After she went in, she walks to stage 3.
This is a whole stage just for clothes. When she arrived there she stopped. She
stops and breathes in the air. She loves the smell of new clothes.
"Rumi?"

Harumi turned around and saw Skylor. Her female best friend.
"Sky! What are you doing here?"
Well, it's obvious. She has already 4 bags of clothes in her hands.
As Skylor heard her thoughts she lifts her bags to clarify. "Shopping. What else?"
"Of course. I wanted to. So, that's why I'm here. Do you want to accompany me?"
"Yes. I am the best fashion consultant of ALL time."

When they found a store, that they both like, Harumi and Skylor started to look after clothes for Harumi.
"What about that?" Skylor lifts on a tight and short green dress.
"Skylor. I don't think this is... my style. I don't really like tight dresses..."
"But I think Lloyd does."
"What-"
"Uh.. c'mon. It's obvious that you two like each other more than best friends do. So. Try it on. You need something to seduce him." Skylor grins and winks at her.

Harumi rolls her eyes. "Fine." She takes the dress and goes to the fitting rooms.
One minute later she comes out of it.
"O.M.G. WOW. Harumi. That. Looks. AWESOME." Skylor stands there shocked.
"I don't know... isn't that... too short?"
Harumi said.
She looks down at her body. The dress ends over her thighs.
"Definitely not! This is perfect!"
Skylor answered.

"Of course, she says that. She always wears tight and short outfits. She always tries to get Kai. Even though quite every boy in school is after her. She wants him. Maybe because quite every girl is after him? And he doesn't want these girls. Maybe Skylor likes, that he is hard to get..."

"Harumi?"
"Yeah?"
"Will you take this dress?"
"I think so." She smiles.
"I don't like it when people are staring at me. But the way Lloyd stares at me is stunning..."
"Yes!" Skylor cheers.

After a long day of shopping, Harumi returns home with 3 big shopping bags.
She bought the dress, 2 other (longer) dresses, some new jeans and shorts, a skirt and even 3 sexy dessous. The dessous were also an idea from Skylor. She is really convincing...
"Good, that I wash my clothes. I don't want an awkward talk with my mom about THAT..."

This evening Harumi finished reading her book.
It was about a teenage romance. Just like she dreams about having this kind of romance with Lloyd.
After thinking for hours about what they could have in their future, she fell asleep.
And of course: she dreams about herself with Lloyd by her side...
