"Hindi ako makapaniwala na nagkita tayo dito. How are you?" masiglang bati nya sa akin na akala mo magkaibigan kaming dalawa.

"I'm good." sagot ko at hindi makatingin ng diretso.

"You're beautiful as always. I was looking for you in the province where you lived but your neighbors said that you're in luzon. Hindi ko naman alam kung saan because you're too private mabuti nalang at may nakita akong post ng brand na finafollow ko at nakita kitang isang representative for their runway." masayang kwento nya, hindi ko naman tinatanong.

Wala akong maisip na maisasagot ko sa kanya dahil sobrang haba pa nyang magkwento, hindi ako nag-reklamo dahil may kaibigan naman akong madaldal pero si Ethan na nasa harap ko ay hindi makakain dahil abala sa kakatitig ng lalaking kumakausap sa akin. Kung makatitig sya sa kanya animo'y isang insektong nagdadaldal.

"I never thought you do runways 'cuz you did not like it. Even when we are dating at napapadaan sa mall at may runway agad mong iniiwasan. I could still remember how you held my hand and pulled me away from the large crowd." tawa nya pa.

Kita ko ang pagkunot ng noo ni Ethan sa sinabi ni Irwan.

"Fercy wanted the price so I participated to give it to her as a gift for her birthday." I said.

"That's good that you stayed good friends with her! hindi ako makapaniwala na kahit dito ay magkasama parin kayo. You're home are far from each other and I'm glad you stayed strong. I thought you won't click to each other since you're not that talkative. Until now... I can still see it."

I clenched my jaw and tried to ignore him. Napatingin kaming dalawa ni Irwan kay Ethan na biglaang tumikhim at walang emosyon na nakatitig sa lalaking kumausap sa akin.

I blink twice as I stared on Ethan. Hindi ko pa nakita ang ganitong emosyon nya na pinapakita nya ngayon kay Irwan. He is displeased and didn't try to hide it.

"Ah... may kasama ka pala. I'm sorry for being rude. I was just excited to see Zena Alika again." gulat na sabi ni Irwan.

Ethan did not answered and remain his stoic face. Irwan glanced on Ethan's uniform and look at me.

" Colleague?"

Umiling ako.

" Must be a friend." ngiti ni Irwan kay Ethan.

I saw how Ethan's clenched his jaw aggressively and how he stared on Irwan's hand as he offered it to him to shook hands. Tinitigan nya lang ang kamay ni Irwan na nakalahad at walang balak na tanggapin iyon. I can tell because of how he looks right now.

Tumikhim si Irwan at binaba ang kamay ng napansin na walang balak tanggapin ni Ethan ang kamay nya.

"I'd like to catch up with you. Kailan ka pwede?" he ask.

I opened my mouth to talked to decline him but Ethan speaks so I haven't deliver my words.

"She doesn't have time and we need to go." tumayo na si Ethan at nilahad ang kamay nya.

Napatitig ako ng ilang segundo at kalaunan tinanggap iyon. I don't want to be rude but I am not comfortable talking with Irwan. Nahihiya akong nakahawak kamay kay Ethan pero binaliwala ko lang iyon dahil gusto ko na ding umalis.

Pupunta pa sana si Ethan sa counter pero pinigilan ko na dahil nakapagbayad na ako. He did not talk and continue to pull me until we reach the parking lot where his car parked.

I unconsciously look around to check if there are other people but fortunately it's just the two of us.

"Who is he?" Ethan ask in the middle of our silence.
