"hi" he said, sitting at his new place opposite her.
she looked up startled, "hi" she replied and went right back to what she was doing.
"i'm luke" he said, putting forth his hand.
she looked up nodded and looked back at what looked like her maths book.
he sighed. this, he had to remind himself, was far different from his usual. and much more important, some part of him added.
