"where are you luke?" she asked him, walking quickly with a wide grin on her face.

"um i'm in the library babe" he said, seeming distracted.

"oh, interesting book?" she asked him, with a smile. after being together all these years, luke had picked up her habit of reading, instead of just staring at her read. now she was the one doing the staring, guess the roles had reversed.

"yes yes pipe, very interesting. where you?" he asked and she could hear him flipping pages.

"i'm on my way, getting back from work, i'll catch you at the library in two" she said and shut her phone.

"hi" she said, reaching their regular spot in the library.

"hey babe" he said looking up at her. he looked at her and smiled in amusement, "you look happy. because of the anniversary?" he asked, referring to their four year anniversary.

"yea and something else" she smiled.

"what?" he asked her.

she got down on one knee, the second time. his eyes widened.

"luke, i've loved you for four years, and will love you for many more, maybe even forever. i love your hair when you're out of the shower. and the moustache you get when you drink Starbucks. and i love watching you read, specially when you're crying and pretend not to cry. you're amazing and i love you. will you marry me?" she asked, looking at him with nervousness.

he stared at her in awe. unable to speak.

"my knee hurts luke, and you're scaring me" she said.

"will you ever let me be the one to propose?" he asked and she laughed, shaking her head.

"yes, yes i will. i love you too." he said.
