"We are leaving tonight."
"What are we going to do when we leave? We have no money. Where are we gonna stay? How will we eat?" He moved his hands around while talking. Dani sighed "maybe we can take some money from mom while she's sleeping, at least enough for a hotel, I'll look for a job. I just don't want to stay here any longer."
Jax stood up "Then let's pack some clothes. When mom is asleep you go to her purse and take the money, be extremely quiet." Dani nodded her head and stood up as well.
Jax walked out of her room and went to his room to start packing while dani did the same. The current time was around 9:30PM so their parents were gonna be going to sleep soon. Dani was nervous, but she couldn't stand living there anymore. About an hour later she was sure that her parents were sleeping but she wanted to wait a little longer, so she went to her brother's room.
"I packed all the clothes I wanted, I looked up what's the nearest hotel and it's half an hour away by walking." Jax hummed in acknowledgment. "You ready?" Dani asked, fiddling with the sleeve of her jacket. "Yeah I am, I'm pretty sure mom and dad are sleeping but still be careful please." Dani nodded and walked quietly to her parents room.
She slowly twisted the nob and the door creaked softly as she walked in which made her pause for a second to make sure they are still sleeping. Once she was sure it was okay she looked around for her mom's purse, which was on their nightstand. It was hard for her to see so when she found the bag she stepped out for a minute to have a bit of light.
Once she got the money she needed she hurried and put the purse back and quietly closed the door. She walked fastly to her brothers room and put the money in her bag. She sighed "You ready to go?" He nodded. "We should go out the window, the front door is so loud." He agreed and they slipped out of the window, which was easy because they were on the first floor.
Dani pulled out her phone and put directions to the hotel on. This was it, they were finally out of that horrible place. They never had the guts to do it before but they had enough, now they finally did it.
419 words! I'll start making longer chapters soon, I'm just trying to get the swing of things currently. I hope you like this chapter, I didn't really know how to go with this one but I wanted to get it out.
