Betty POV

I awoke on something cold and hard. I opened my eyes and saw I was laying on stone brick.
I looked behind me and saw the last bit of the portal disappear. Then something dropped on the floor. It was the portal ball. I picked it up and scanned the area.
I was at the end if a large hallway. The only light I could see was from a torch just around the corner.
"Where am I?" I mumbled to myself.
Then the memories came back to me. I was running after that person and I jumped into the portal.
I groaned. My head really hurt. I must've fallen out of the portal and hit it. It felt like my face was squashed.
I checked my inventory to see if I had lost anything in the crash. Nope! Well except for a couple blocks of dirt. I didn't need those that much.
I got up and carefully walked to the corner. I heard footsteps on the other side. And this time I could hear them.
I crept a bit closer to hear what they were saying. "Have you figured out which one did it?" One asked.
"No. None of them have said a thing. Ender hasn't come back yet. Have you see her?"
"No! It's strange of her to not have returned yet. I'll go check the over world."
Now a few things were going through my head. Who did what, and who's Ender? And who were these people?
But before I could think of any answers, I heard footsteps coming right towards me.
I started to panic. That person was coming to open up a portal. They were getting closer. I had nowhere to hide.
I decided to just hide in the corner. Which was my favourite thing. I sat down and put my head in my knees. I held my breath, closed my eyes and just hoped for the best.

Tatum POV

I came to. I felt warmth coming to the left side of my body. But before I opened my eyes I felt a horrible pain in my forehead. I opened my eyes and saw I was on a hammock. In a small tent.
I tried to stand up but my legs were too sore. What happened?
Suddenly the memories came back to me. I was trying to get out of the way of the tree and then I got whacked in the face by one of the branches.
I had blacked out and somehow I ended up in this tent on this hammock.
Suddenly I remembered Skella. She had disappeared into the twister. Where was she now? I had to get that thought out of my head. Right now I had to figure out how I got here and how to get out.
Outside I heard a crackling fire. No wonder I was so warm on my left. There was an opening in the tent.
I tried to stand up again and this time I felt more confident.
I walked a few steps and only stumbled a bit.
I slowly moved the flap of the tent and looked outside. I couldn't believe my eyes.
Right in front of me was a huge crackling bonfire. It lit up the night sky and made the twinkling stars look very dull.
Dancing around the fire was the skeleton tribe Skella told me about. They wore grey cloaks, bone masks, and on these belts, were iron swords that swayed from side to side.
They were doing a very complicated dance with their feet and they waved their arms around in different motions. It looked like they were having a celebration.
Making sure not to disturb them, I slowly backed into the tent feeling out of place in this area.
I turned around into the tent, and decided to go back to bed. I felt exhausted from just standing up. And I've been on my feet for days.
I was just about to climb into bed when one of the banners that was on one side of the tent stirred.
I stared at it for like thirty seconds, and thought it was nothing. But I was wrong.
It moved more. Suddenly, the things that was holding up the sides of the banner fell.
The banner turned around revealing a skeleton girl. She had been holding up the banner for that whole time without moving.
She had grey hair going down to her knees. She was as thin as Skella. She wore a tight short sleeved top with little dangling strips of the fabric on the bottom. On her legs were baggy pants that went a little farther then her heels. Everything that she was wearing was different shades of grey.
The banner that she was holding up was actually a long cloak that covered her shoulders. It had a picture of a skeleton head on the back. The cloak dragged like half a meter when she walked.
I stared at her for about a minute but then noticed that my mouth was open and my eyes were wide.
She just stood there calm and seemed to be looking at my forehead. I had just remembered, I had to check my face. See what that tree branch did.
The girl must have read my mind because she put her hand behind her back and pulled out a polished diamond sword and handed it to me saying, "Here, you can look at your reflection in this."
I thanked her and took a look at my appearance.
I gasped. Going from the right corner of my forehead, to the bottom left cheek was a large scar. So that was why my face hurt.
And even worse, there were small scratches that still had dried blood on them. Wow! That tree branch did a lot to my face. Well luckily my face didn't fall apart. Then I saw the skeleton girl was standing there with her hand out wanting me to shake it.
I put the sword down and grabbed her bony hand.
"I'm Pearl. Second leader of the skeleton tribe." She said.
"I'm Tatum. Person that got stuck in Minecraft four months ago. Nice to meet you." I explained.
"Do you wanna come outside and talk?" Pearl asked.
"Uh sure!" I answered.
We walked outside and sat down on a blanket by the fire. It was warm and soothing on my face and the crackling noises sounded nice for some reason.
"You want something to eat?" Pearl asked.
"Yeah! In starving!" I said.
She stood up and walked behind the tent. About two minutes later she came back holding a bowl of apples. Except they weren't normal golden apples. These ones were golden apples.
She put them down and as soon as she did that I grabbed the one on top and took a huge bite off of it.
It was the sweetest apple I had ever tasted. (Besides candy apples that are in real life. This is the sweetest apple Tatum had ever had in Minecraft)
I immediately felt a bit satisfied. But I didn't even wait to swallow.
When I was done three more apples Pearl and I chatted.
It turns out the skeleton tribe went out looking for Skella after the storm. Instead they found me and decided to take me to their camp.
I told Pearl all about meeting Betty to the part when I met Skella. We're all just hoping she made it and we'll find her.

To be continued. By the way, the picture at the top is where Betty ended up when she went through the portal.
