30. Give Me A Chance

Taehyung ran to the door after hiding Jungkook successfully in his room. He made sure that the younger one doesn't make any noises to get caught,
so here Taehyung was standing near his apartment door holding the door knob trying hard to hide his nervous state.

Taehyung slowly twisted the door knob and opened it to see a delivery boy holding a big box in his hands. Tae released a relaxing sigh after realising that it was only a delivery boy,"Sir, your delivery. " The boy spoke in a professional tone making Tae come out of his thoughts.

"Oh yeah , thank you!"Taehyung extended his hands to take the box from the boy and gave a polite smile. After the boy was gone Tae closed the door and placed the box in the living room as he sat on the soft couch.

Then suddenly he recalled everything that happened a few minutes ago in the kitchen. Taehyung groaned loudly clossing his eyes shut regretting everything he did with the younger, "H-how did it happened ? What was I even thinking ? God I've fucked up really bad..." A warm tear escaped from his right eye as he grabbed his hair in frustration.

On the other side, Jungkook was standing near the bedroom door when he got to know that it was a delivery boy who rang the bell of Taehyung's apartment, releasing a contented sigh he shyly smiled remembering every little detail about the moment he has shared with Taehyung just now.

Jungkook closed the bedroom door after coming out of it and saw Taehyung sitting in the living room in a miserable state, pulling and grabbing his hair looking like he was frustrated about something. Just when he was about to go near Tae he heard Taehyung rambling about something like, 'How did it happened? What was I even thinking? God I've fucked up really bad...'

Jungkook was just out of words, he felt like his heart was breaking into millions of pieces hearing those words that came out of Taehyung's mouth just now, "So...you regret ?"
Sudden voice of the younger made Taehyung to jump on his seat as he snapped his head towards the direction where Jungkook was standing.

Jungkook took a few trembling steps towards the elder with red puffy eyes that could burst at any moment,
" Taehyung I'm asking something to you. Tell me do you regret ? " Jungkook spoke in a rather calming tone that made Taehyung's heart to clench badly because he can see the boy was hurt .

Taehyung looked down at his feet unable to speak any word at the moment so he just kept quiet not answering Jungkook's question. But Jungkook already had his answer and nothing can match how devastated he was feeling right now, he wanted to scream at Taehyung, he wanted to scold him for being quiet, he wanted to fight with the elder but we all know that when we have feelings for someone it becomes difficult to hurt them in any form.

Jungkook couldn't stand at Taehyung's apartment anymore, so he started walking towards the apartment door not even looking once at Taehyung .

Tae was panicking really badly seeing the younger leave just like that, he ran after Jungkook holding his left arm stopping him to move any further, "Jungkook please don't leave. Let's talk like mature people, okay ! "

Jungkook yanked Taehyung's hand finally letting his tears fall from his eyes. He took a long shaky breath before speaking "Mature People... "
He let out a dry chuckle finding Taehyung's words funny, "You want us to settle like mature people huh ? But where was your maturity when you were being all excited for me to touch you Taehyung. Now...Now you want us to...to- "  Jungkook couldn't complete the sentence as he completely broke down feeling nothing but betrayal though he knew that Tae and him shared no particular relation.

Taehyung couldn't express how painful it was to see Jungkook cry like that, he felt like a criminal to make the precious boy cry because of his stupidity. Taehyung could no longer hold his tears as he let them flow out of his eyes crouching next to the younger one, he placed his hand on Jungkook's shoulder and gave it a light squeez sniffing loudly
" Jungkook..."
