34. I'm Hurt

Taehyung was patiently waiting for Jungkook after coming back home from his work. Though he was looking at his phone screen but his mind was wandering around the younger the whole time.

Taehyung looked at the wall clock for the fifth time still waiting for Jungkook thinking why he was taking so long today, "Shall I call him? No no, it would be weird . But what is taking him so long today, did he forget about our cooking sess - ... No no , I clearly told him at college. Then why - "

Taehyung was getting frustrated every passing minute as he didn't know why Jungkook was not showing up at his house, it was unusual from the younger's side because whenever Taehyung told him to meet for something he would show up at any cost then what has changed now. 

Taehyung lowered his head looking out of the window from his bedroom sighing loudly releasing all the stress that was built inside him. He got up from his bed mumbling, " I should go for a walk to clear my head or else I'll go crazy for sure. Let's go TaeTae !"

The clock striked 4:30 pm when Jungkook started to get ready to go to Taehyung's place for their cooking session.

He was really excited to meet Taehyung after making him jealous all day at college, " I wonder what's going to happen when I meet him today . I'm so exci- ..."

Jungkook was unable to complete the sentence as his dad's voice came from the living room, "Jungkook-ah ..."

Jungkook stopped whatever he was doing and responded to his dad, "Yea Appa ." He went down to know the reason why his dad had called him.

Mr. Jeon saw his son coming from his room, he got up from the sofa with a smile on his face, "Kook-ah listen I have a really important thing to do and your mom just called me from a salon that she has forgotten her bag here at home. Can you go give her the bag ? "

Jungkook looked at his father thinking about his visit to Taehyung's house. He wanted to deny his dad so badly but what could he do now because there was no option left for him rather than nodding his head as a 'yes'.

"Thank you my son. Here take this bag and go fast, okay !" Mr. Jeon said to his son going back to his room.

Jungkook's expressions were now changed to a complete opposite one from what he had a few minutes ago. He didn't know that his day would turn out like this  , " I'm already missing him. God ... Why , why , why only me God ! "

Jungkook walked with his best friend to give the bag to his mother, he had called Jimin as soon as he came out of the house not wanting to go to the salon alone.

After about twenty minutes they reached the salon and Jungkook called his mother to take her bag, "Omma I'm here...yes...Yes, I'm waiting outside, Okay ! "

Jimin was munching on his chips watching the younger putting who tried to snatch the chips from Jimin's fingers, "Don't you even dare...Brat ."

"Why so mean ? Just give me a little bit at least ." Jungkook gave a pout to his friend earning an eye roll from his bestie, "Ahh - okay okay, just a little."

Jimin forwarded his chips packet towards Jungkook who snatched the whole packet from Jimin's hand, "Hya... Brat ! Give me that back ... Give . Jungkook I swear... That's my favourite chips."

Jungkook laughed loudly keeping the chips packet high in air so that the shorter male couldn't reach the packet, " That's what you get for calling me brat , you get that Minie."

Both were bickering like married couples being completely unaware of the fact that a certain someone was watching the two males from afar with a piercing gaze.

"So this was the reason that he didn't came. "

Taehyung's eyes were staring to burn from trying too hard to control his tears, " What the f*ck ... Why am I hurt, why my eyes are tearing up for a person like him ? No Taehyung don't... don't !"
Taehyung scolded himself for being so sensitive and started to walk from there clutching on the grocery bag.

After waiting for some time Jungkook's mother finally came to take her bag, "Omo Jimin's here too ! Aigoo how cute you are looking today Jimin-ah ."

Jimin blushed at the compliment and bowed down to show his respect towards Mrs. Jeon "Anyeonghasseyo Omonim, you are looking really beautiful." Jimin gave a small compliment to Jungkook's mother showing his famous eye smile.

Jungkook looked at his friend with a funny expression most likely mocking him for being extra sweet to his mother, he then turned his head looking at his mother, "Omma It is looking good on you ... The hair color. It is really cool. " Jungkook couldn't help but compliment his beautiful mother who has changed her hair colour from black to brown.

"Thank you, you both ! I am happy that you both liked my new style. Okay , I'll be going now ." Mrs. Jeon waved her slim hand to both Jimin and Jungkook going back to the salon.

...

"Why's he not picking up." It was 7 in the evening when Jungkook was trying to call Taehyung constantly after coming back to his house but to his misery Taehyung was far from receiving the call.

"What's wrong, Kook."  Jimin came out from the kitchen wiping off the remaining water drops from his lips, "Why are you looking so tensed."

Jungkook looked up from his phone throwing it to the living room's couch,
"Minie, I was calling Taehyung to tell him why I didn't go to his house today but he is not receiving my calls at all."

Jimin looked at Jungkook with a concerning look, "Don't worry Jungkookie, I think he is busy right now. He will call you back later what he gets time. "

Jungkook didn't say anything  as he just nodded his head pouting his pink lips. Jimin shooked his head at the younger's drama coming forward to give him a quick hug, "Look at you being all sad for your crush."

Jungkook hugged back the shorter male nuzzling his face in Jimin's smooth hair, "I hope he's okay."

*20 missed calls from Jungkook

Taehyung closed his phone screen and threw his mobile on his bed, too sad to talk with anyone. He walked towards the bathroom to get a relaxing bath to forget everything that happened today.

' I'll never talk to you again Jeon. '
