18. New Start

One week went by just like that but still there was no conversation shared between Jungkook and Jimin. This thing was eating both the friends to the depth but both decided not to talk till their sobbing heart calms down.

On the other hand , Jungkook was trying his best to impress Taehyung with his little gifts such as - chocolates , apology letters , bouquets , or showing him how much he regrets his deeds. Not to mention it was working as days passed by and Taehyung was slowly accepting his gifts, he has been talking with the younger more compared to those unspoken days. But still Taehyung could see there was something missing in Jungkook, he rarely smiles or talks these days like something was bugging him so he decided to ask the younger about this later.

Today was the eighth day when Jungkook was surprising his teacher with a unique gift that included a dish that was made by him with an apology letter as always and a beautiful flower to go with it.

Taehyung was really amazed by the younger's cooking, he couldn't believe a boy like Jungkook can cook something so delicious like this "You made this ?" Jungkook who was standing near the elder's table nodded his head cutely , "Y-yeah I made this...why does it taste bad ?"
Taehyung immediately shook his head as he took a big bite of the food placed in front of him, oh how much he missed home cook dishes as he was  terrible in cooking so most of the time he rely on takeouts, "No, it's tasty like really tasty but it's hard to believe that someone like you can cook something so delicious ."

At this Jungkook chuckled a little which made Taehyung look at his face thinking what made the younger laugh, "If you don't believe then I can show you my cooking skills to you if you want... I'm not forcing though." Taehyung cracked a smile at Jungkook's words as he could see the younger panicking a little "I think I can take cooking classes from you then " .
This made Jungkook to widen his eyes because this time Tae didn't really reject his offer which was shocking for him, " R-really or... Are you just kidding" Jungkook took a step closer to Taehyung's desk being a curious bunny he was.
"Um...maybe I'm serious. I live alone so I need to learn cooking anyways so that I could make myself something proper to eat" Tae stood up from his chair to throw the tissues after wiping his lips and started putting the
Wooden tiffin box inside the brown bag brought by Kook.
"But there are so many channels on YouTube that teach cooking. I was just curious so I asked... not that I am complaining " Jungkook immediately said the last sentence as he didn't want to lose the precious opportunity he was getting. Taehyung stood before Kook and handed him the paper bag keeping the flowers and chocolates with him, " I tried learning from them but it was just a waste of time. I can't learn until there is someone who practically shows me how to cook."

Jungkook took the bag from his hand and showed him his bunny teeth before answering, " So are you really saying that you will learn cooking from me ?" Taehyung's heart missed a beat seeing the cute bunny smile after so many days as he returned the smile back, "Yeah ! There's no harm in learning from you , right?" Tae raised his left brow questioning the younger who immediately shook his head as a no, "No no there is no harm and believe me I will never do anything again without your permission, I promise. Okay Taehyung now I'll be going to my class, see you tomorrow!"

"Hey , don't you think you are forgetting something !" Tae stopped the younger before he reached for the doorknob.  Jungkook stopped on his way and looked back to see Taehyung with a pout, "Am I , but I don't remember. What did I forget ?" Tae shook his head while smiling a little as he was aware of Jungkook's  excitement, "You didn't ask me when we are going to start our cooking class. "
Jungkook scratched the back of his head in embarrassment as he knew he was caught by his teacher being all excited, "I - i really forgot. So when are we going to start our cooking class ?"  Taehyung went back to his desk to prepare some teaching materials by responding to the younger's question, "How about we start the next week, what do you say Jeon ."
Jungkook nodded with a happy look on his face as it felt like a sign that Taehyung was accepting his apology, "Okay ! I am looking forward to our cooking session next week."

Tae hummed in response and continued with his paper work while Jungkook looked at Taehyung for the last time and came out of his cabin being all excited for their cooking session.
He couldn't wait to see Taehyung close to him again just like before, but this time Jungkook promised himself that he will not do anything stupid that would ruin their relation like last time. He will give Taehyung a reason to like him back.
